Rambling along as usual. Sorting out my mind. Escaping the turmoil of what's going on. Unravelling my thoughts. Staying positive and finding a better track, is the theme of this chat.

Words of wisdom. As long as you are aware of what going on, switch off the TV. It is fear mongering on a constant loop. Walks in nature are very healing. Being in nature, around animals or young children. We can change our own mental and physical attitude. We do have power over how we react. Bless you xx

Hello from Norther California! I think of you as a wise aunt. I am 52 yrs. old and have no elders in my life. My parents passed away when in my 20’s. I have no grandparents, aunts or uncles either. I so look forward to your wisdom and encouragement ❤️🙏

Well said. I agree. The song ‘Me and Bobby McGee’, penned by Kristopherson, said it well, “Freedom's just another word for nothin' left to lose. Nothin', don't mean nothin' hon' if it ain't free, no no.” Freeing ourselves from the blather across the airways and being content with what we have heals us.

Great advice llona I go probably too far down the rabbit hole sometimes & see some very sinister things that are going on in our world & yes if you're not careful it can get you down but at the moment I always feel peace & mostly calmness because I am walking with my saviour Jesus christ & he didn't give us a spirit of fear but a spirit of freedom. That looked a lovely walk hope you enjoyed it.

A few years ago my eldest daughter was having a lot of stress with her then boyfriend. After a late night telephone argument she left the house and went a walk. I wasn’t keen about her going out so late at night but when she came back she said that she needed to be outside until she could feel that the world was bigger than her problems - it’s stuck with me.

Sit down with a pen and paper. Work out all your outgoing, write them down. Then write down all your incomings, wages, benefits, any money you have coming in. Then work out what spending you can cut down on. Can you put some money away in a savings pot, then stop work when you have a little nest egg put by. Bring the retirement date forward.

@@cherylparkinson6136 You must work out every penny coming in and going out. Check standing orders and direct debits, are there any you can get rid of. Keep yourself on a straight path, don't wander off it. Build up a pot of savings. Try and keep focussed. It takes a lot of discipline. You can do it.

Hello. I walk around the edges of fields on official footpaths. They are on the Ordnance Survey maps. I know where I can walk in my local area. Some farmers allow walkers to use other routes as long as you don't wander willy nilly. For instance, inside a field edge rather than along a busy road. If I am in an area I don't know, I stick to the paths on the OS maps.

Hi Ilona , a friend of mine who's 63 yo, and the grown child is age 40 let her grown child move into a flat wth her again who has bipolar,and calls her horrible names at times,an she wants to move away from ,but her grown child will be homeless again and she feels guilty because once in awhile her grown child is good to her , do you have any suggestions ? I don't know if any of your subscribers may have gone threw this .
@meanqueensuperscrimper8908
@meanqueensuperscrimper8908 Жыл бұрын
Hello. I am maybe not the best person to answer this, but here are my thoughts. I haven't had the responsibility of bringing up a child, and I have no understanding of what Bipolar is. I would start by asking the mother some questions. Can the mother get some help from Social Services? When the child was living elsewhere, what happened to bring him/her back home again? Does the child have an income? Is the child paying the mother rent? A 40 year old should have some kind of income, even if it is benefits. If the child has no where else to go, can the mother build up her own life outside of the home? Go out, meet friends, take some time off? I understand that Bipolar is unpredictable, that's about all I know about it. Is the child on medication to control the mood changes? It's impossible for me to give advice on this, the mother needs to see a social worker who will hopefully have the relevant experience.

TY so much,so kind of you, I'm sure this will be a help to her,I will ✍️ it all down and give it to her ,I know the grown child doesn't always take the meds and dose get benefits for mental illness.
