That's how affairs go. Polyamory is just an affair with extra steps and lots of denial. And yes all my friends are poly - many ended up divorced. You'd think marriage where you can sleep with and date others would have a higher success rate. But no. 2 divorced in 2 years in my friends.

I totally agree with you that the decision to divorce has to come from you and I understand why coming to that choice is difficult. But we have seen how unhappy this marriage has made you from beginning to end and while some.happy moments are sprinked in there (every toxic relationship has happy moments) it doesn't erase how this has effected your wellbeing or the fact that this marriage is not good for you. There is a difference between marital issues you can work through and a marriage that is toxic and unhealthy and unfixable. How many more weeks, months, years until you see there will never be a time when things are better for good. You'll get swings where she's more responsible financially and where yall are making good memories and sharing love and light but you'll never get wht your looking for which is the problems to be fixed. I just hope you at least have in mind a timeline of when enough is enough because so many couples get caught up in wanting to save the relationship they just end up in a toxic cycle tht never ends.

The thought of a divorce is scary but in some marriages it requires that divorce to be able to be genuinely happy and its ok to say "ok this just isnt working anymore" because everyone deserves that true happiness and the reality is we only get 1 life on this earth, dont waste it being unhappy or being only partly happy. I'm no longer on antidepressants, by choice (I'm in the UK, for context) but when I needed to take them I was on Sertraline and it worked well for me, for a few years. Of course, everyone is different however and it's always best to speak to a medical professional and read up on possible side - effects (but don't make the mistake of disappearing down the rabbit hole after Googling them, if that makes sense! ) Wishing you all the very best with your M/H journey, whatever you decide to do xXx ❤xXx

Sorry to hear you are both still struggling to repair the relationship .😢 I have wondered if Eileen has her own mental health issues and if she has any support for that . Her weight gain and the visible signs she no longer takes as much care of her appearance , her knee operation etc . It’s obvious she needs support with the impulse to spend credit , money issues , struggles with procrastination and healthy eating . It becomes harder to get out of bad habits when you are older and I feel she needs exercise , healthy eating and some CBT therapy or some healing . I may be wrong and I have no idea if she has tried those things . Her lack of sex drive shows she is suffering with her hormones or mental health Sending love to both of you
