Starting from the Biblical description of the Flood, this presentation is an overview of six easily-grasped, convincing, large-scale evidences for the Flood. Visit examples of fossils and rock layers from the Grand Canyon that can be found across the North American continent and beyond.

Fossils: Buried in the Flood, not Evolution over Millions of Years
Dr. Andrew A. Snelling
The rock layers are real and the fossils in them are real. There is an order to the rock layers and to the fossils. But the evolutionists only depict on their diagrams the fossils they claim to show evolution. But what do the fossils teach us?
God’s Word is the only reliable eyewitness account of the earth’s history, beginning with creation, corruption then catastrophe. The fossils show death and disease, so they had to form after the Curse during the Flood catastrophe.
Billions of dead things called fossils buried in rock layers laid down by water all over the earth. And the fossils had to form by virtually instantaneous burial, or otherwise the animals would have rotted or been eaten.
The fossils appear in the rock record fully formed and fully functioning, perfectly designed by their Creator with no supposed evolutionary ancestors. And we don’t find the supposed transitional fossils, the so-called “missing links” are missing, as even evolutionists testify.
Many varieties of fossil creatures are found, but only within their created kinds. And after appearing in the fossil record suddenly, each kind may vary but many varieties stay the same, many being the same today as their fossil representatives supposedly many millions of years old.
What we find is evidence of rapid mass destruction and burial on a global scale in a catastrophe (the Flood) in rock layers laid down by water even right across continents.
The fossil sequence order is therefore the order of burial during the Flood. We see the order in which pre-Flood ecosystems were progressively destroyed by the rising Flood waters and then buried in that order. And most of the fossil record is made of shallow water marine invertebrates such as clams and corals, buried all the way up through the rock record.
Even fossil burrows, footprints and eggs can be explained by the oscillating tidal levels of the flood waters. In fact, many footprints are found in the rock record supposedly millions of years before the animals that made them!
Then after the Flood animals migrated from the Ark landing site by traveling across land bridges during the post-Flood Ice Age when the sea level dropped by hundreds of metres, and/or were carried on floating vegetation mats left over from the Flood and especially due to post-flood local catastrophic floods.
So we can full explain the fossils and their order in the rock record based on God’s Word.

The answer is: not very. The older the specimen the less reliable it becomes. Human brand objects (like Zippo lighters encased in coal) sometimes read as tens of thousands of years old with radiocarbon dating. The problem with carbon dating is that it assumes all living things had the same amount of carbon-14 in them when they died. It also assumes that all things decay at the same rate in all situations. Logically it makes no sense that a fossil on top of a mountain would decay at the same rate as one at the bottom of a mine shaft or at the bottom of the ocean.

Finding carbon-14 in items are more telling than carbon dating. If there is even a trace of carbon-14 found in something, then it cannot be over 50k years old, maximum, because the half-life of carbon-14 is 3900 years. With that said, diamonds, dinosaur bones, oil, fossils, coal, etc., have all been tested with carbon in them, so they can't possibly be older than 50k years old.

There are stories about massive floods all over the ancient world. At the end of the last ice age the great herds were declining, hunting was difficult. Paleolithic people tended to live in small groups close to the oceans and along rivers. When the ice age ended, the glaciers melted raising the height of the oceans between 300 and 400 feet relatively quickly causing massive flooding. The Sumerian tablet with the epic story of Gilgamesh is the earliest text we have. The Hebrew account of Noah is much later. There are accounts in China of a great flood destroying the world. The Greek story of Atlantis has it destroyed by a massive flood.

The question I ask is, what are the data which require explanation, and which hypothesis, most reasonably and thoroughly, accounts for that data. The Noah's Flood hypothesis sure appears to explain much of the critical data quite well. To wit, the contents of this vid. Sure, your hypothesis MIGHT accurately explain the data, but you have yet to demonstrate such---nor in addition have you confuted the TIGHT fit of the data, vis-a'-vis the Noah's Flood hypothesis, as discussed in this vid. @@seankennedy4284 No, it doesn't. It makes particular predictions that are not borne out by the data. If there was a single global flood (as opposed to local ones that became local legends), then they would be at least roughly synchronized in time. Moreover (I'm being deliberately generous with dates here) the Biblical flood would have happened between 3000 BC and 2000 BC. If it worked as Genesis said, every culture on earth would have had a big break in continuity. The previous culture would have ceased unexpectedly without any warning they documented. That culture would vanish, never to reappear. Then, some decades or centuries later, a completely different people with a different religion and culture would appear and appear with new writing systems, too. But China, India, and Egypt have no such period and certainly none that can be synchronized over the required timeframe.

@@beestoe993 And what's your proof? Some ideas working some of the time won't prove a global flood. Especially if you can't prove they happened at the same time. I've never seen any serious attempt to prove that -- it is often just assumed. But we know floods, big ones, happen a lot. Geologists know of some bigger ones we haven't seen in historical times. But, even those are not universal. We know how much ground they covered. Not nearly enough. So, many cultures recording a flood doesn't prove nearly enough multiple ways. Meanwhile, where's the universal break in human culture? On what date (within a century will do) did all existing writing systems get abandoned and slowly replaced with something else? And the new script would be semitic. Everywhere. When did all existing religions (including in the Americas) get replaced with something at least roughly comparable to the Israelite religion, or a recognizable precursor? Lacking proof of these (never mind geology and other topics) means you hold an empty sack. Because a universal flood _predicts_ such events and they did not happen.

There are no trilobites today just as there are no bear-like dogs (if you go back far enough, bears and dogs had a common ancestor -- several such speicies, in fact). There are also no surviving four legged whales and much else. The coelacanth is fun, but even that is not exactly the same creature as the one from ancient times. It evolved; just more slowly. How did animals with odd diets get to the ark? 6. How did 8 people deal with the needs of 10000 animals on the ark? Each animal had to be fed, watered, exercised and the poop scooped. Working 12 hours a day they would need to deal with over 100 animals per hour. 7. If there were 10000 animals on the ark representing about 4000 species, and there is now about 8.7 million species on Earth, each species surviving the flood would have to generate 217 new species in the 4400 years since the flood. 8. If there were 10000 animals on the ark representing about 4000 species, and there is now about 8.7 million species on Earth, each species surviving the flood would have to generate 217 new species in the 4400 years since the flood. 9. Well according to the Book of Jasher, the wives ARE sisters. Jasher 5: 32-35 "And thou shalt choose for thy sons three maidens, from the daughters of men, and they shall be wives to thy sons. And Noah rose up, and he made the ark, in the place where God had commanded him, and Noah did as God had ordered him. In his five hundred and ninety-fifth year Noah commenced to make the ark, and he made the ark in five years, as the Lord had commanded. Then Noah took the three daughters of Eliakim, son of Methuselah, for wives for his sons, as the Lord had commanded Noah." If a species undergoes a population bottleneck, the lack of genetic diversity can be seen in the members of that species. NO such bottle neck exists in the overwhelming majority of species. 10. 4400 years is not a long enough time to generate the diversity in the human population to give rise to the different populations of people we see on the planet especially when you consider that effectively the genetic diversity was limited to 4 people, Noah and his wife and Eliakim and his wife. 11. Ken Ham's phony Ark has a million Dollar + heating, ventilation and air conditioning system that ensures that workers and visitors do not suffocate in the building. According to the bible, the original Ark had one window, 18 in square. Sorry people but if Ham's estimate of 1600 species represented by a minimum of 4000 animals, they would have suffocated. 12. There is NO trace of any global flood in the geology of the world. Lots of local and regional floods, yes, but NO global flood. 13. Oh and by the way, for those fools at CMI who think Noah's Flood was a real event, a Tomb has been discovered in Egypt dated to 4400 years ago, about the time of the mythical flood (according to many biblical creationists). This raises several questions. a. If the Tomb was built before the flood, how did it escape being flooded? b. If the Tomb was built after the flood, the Earth's population would have been devistated so who built the tomb? c. Why is this Tomb perfectly in line with Egyptian culture before and after the fairy tale flood? If everybody in Egypt were killed in the flood, the Egyptian culture from before the flood would have been lost. You're missing the point of the presentation, while I will not answer all of your points I will make a few observations. Firstly the presentation is questioning the very dating methods used to place events in history. You are using your framework (which they are questioning) to raise your questions. Funny how you call us fools when you should know Radio Carbon Dating can vary up to a 1000 years(Even though the claim is that the tomb of Hekashepes, was untouched). Again I repeat we have issues with dating. As Creationist we have always had issues with how modern "Science" dates and there have been many inconsistencies in this regard. Secondly you assume that people before the flood were of the same strength and ability as modern humans, which may not be true given the fact that they lived 100's of years more than modern man, also it took them almost 120 years to finish this project. Please note still on my second point just because the bible does not mention that they had help does not mean that they were not helped to build the arc. Thirdly you cannot just say there is no trace of a global flood when the very presentation is to partly show this fact. Also the Ark was no luxury cruise some of the questions you raise with regards to how they took care of the animals are insignificant, there may have been multiple systems that were employed to deal with this and lets not forget that we do not argue that this whole process was purely natural and God was not involved. Lastly I have observed that the is data and your conclusion will be based on which frame work you use to interpret the data. Assumptions are made based on which underlying philosophy one chooses.

@@luvontamehlo5750No, you won't answer his points because you can't. That you dismiss points such as animal husbandry shows you have no interest in inquiry; this is not "insignificant," it is vital. Resorting to "god sorted it" is utterly juvenile. He is not using his "own framework", he is using established facts based on evidence. Virtually every scientist in the world follows the evidence and reaches the same conclusion-and they are of many faiths, and none. The numbers that accept your premise are statistically 0%-and all are driven by religion. There are many dating methods, and creationists either don't understand or deliberately misinterpret carbon dating. There are tree rings dating back 10,000 years that show absolutely no evidence of a catastrophic event of the magnitude of a worldwide flood. Whereas scientists seek evidence, you start with the conclusion and make assumptions to fit in with your story. Not how it's done.

Isn't it wonderful that God, 'knowing the beginning from the end', has left us with a logical, true history of Time, backed up with REAL evidence, which we can see and discover for ourselves, since He was well aware of our coming need for this as the great deception, by Satan increasingly overtakes the human mind and thinking as we approach the Return of Jesus. The 'father of lies and deception, has always been able to twist truth, provide constant temptation and defile human hearts and minds, turning them from God's True Word to follow instead his own example of arrogance, selfish self interest, degradation, depravity, deception, self centered delusion and all the pathways that make our world and our lives turned away from God's word and plans for our redemption. I never understood Sodom and Gommorah until recently! My stumbling block was always 'the little ones; the children'! But now in this day and age, I do understand, not only that destruction, but the dual need for the flood. God has not left us without aid and His Word and HIS ENDURING PROOFS are our shield against Satan's deceptions! These are especially needed right now in this present time, where HIS WORD is so relentlessly challenged that even great thinkers, educator and leaders etc., are blinded and so much filled with their own misdirected thinking and arrogant needs to destroy God's word totally, that they've thrown out so many God given gifts. Gifts that Jesus evidenced, while He was in this world. Truth, humility, love of God and our fellow man, rationality, kindness, understanding and so many more. The ruler of this world can really be seen to be here in action, as selfishness and self interest increases! Truth has become a casualty as loss of integrity and the increasing attacks on the words of God are giving greater opportunities for greed, avarice, misdirected pride, depravity and cruelty, etc., to become 'the truth' in this time, where so little makes sense anymore. Thank you for all that you bring to aid us and inform us. God has not left us defenceless, it's so uplifting to know that God is still providing us with Prophets, Wise men and leaders, fit for our time.

They always say oh it wasn't the whole Earth but parts flooded... So how do they also think that Noah's Ark ended up far up a mountainside that would mean that the whole Earth had to have been flooded for the water to be deep enough. And it wasn't millions of years ago so mountain forming plate tectonics doesn't explain why it's so high up now either. Dear Sir, There is a factor missing from these discussions. Water has weight. 1 square mile of floodwater 1,000 feet in depth weighs 77 million tons. The flood covered the tops of the highest mountains by 15 cubits, so there would be areas of the world with many thousands of feet of floodwater sitting upon them. When that weight of floodwater starts to move it would totally destroy the surface below it. The soil would be removed down to bare rock, all the animals habitats gone. I say again, 1 square mile of floodwater 1,000 feet in depth weighs 77 million tons.

The six days is the making (transformation for service), not the creating (forming from nothing). The first day was when the earth was re-exposed to the sun as the water was being gathered into one place. Here we have a pre-existing universe, created in the beginning. So the time it takes for light to get from the stars, and the time for daughter elements to form in the materials become irrelevant to the 6000 years. The 6000 years begin with a pre-existing universe. The 4th day is the day the celestial body purpose and authorship was announced, not the day they were placed because there was a 4th day.

If things move and expand at their rates, and you gather that back in reverse, can we not tell how long they have travelled away from center? And the sun changes in it's intensity and mass, as measured by man since like 1840 AD. It cannot be much more than we can calculate for it, or it would be too massive at that rate. These are factors to consider with our perception for how long it's been going on cosmologically. I was listening to Dr. Gene Kim give the support from scripture for the time between the verses that's not given as we might like. Genesis gap theory. (Fact) As his video is titled. Does anyone else find it disturbingly counter-intuitive when a supposedly bible-believing Christian tries to discredit God's creative genius by saying it was smarter or more challenging for Him to create the universe by using the big bang and evolution over billions of years? How is adding "billions of years of disease, deformity, and death" smarter? One guy said his problem was accepting the 6000 years and he used Isaiah 55:something "My ways are not your ways and My thoughts are not your thoughts. As the heavens are higher than the Earth, so My thoughts are higher than your thoughts." But not all of His thoughts! He spelled out the creation event quite plainly and repeatedly in Genesis and other books of the Bible so that we would "know" how, when, and why He did it! The problem people have with the Genesis account isn't "Biblical interpretation!" It's one of faith. Will you believe what God has said? Because there is nowhere in the Bible that teaches the Earth is billions of years old or that Darwinian evolution is what God used. That is all deliberately added onto God's word, while, simultaneously, denying what is written.

God was very pleased with His Creation and it was only when Eve was deceived by the serpent and Adam chose to eat the fruit that sin and evil came into the world. God did not make the world corruptible, and you cannot prove your point because Genesis 1 and 2 state that God was pleased with His Creation. @@crazyflowerlady1060 are you trying to say that God didn’t know that man would sin? Have you really thought this through? Do you think that the new Heavens and the new earth will be corruptible? The Bible says that when we are Raptured out of here we first put on incorruptible bodies, what do you think that that means? And if it means as I believe that we can no longer be corrupted, why do you think that God didn’t just make us that way in the first place. Please try and prayerfully read your Bible and you might yet understand what it is teaching us about the Sovereignty of our Great God and Creator. God is not a man that He should make a mistake, He Created man knowing that man would fall as a necessary part of the process to achieve the end product which is the end product. I know you have obviously no understanding of this because of your comment. Check out Genesis when God had finished Creating everything that He had made, He looked at everything and said “ behold, it is very good”, unless you have a bad translation it should have words to that effect or you can try looking at the Greek in biblehub. Jesus said too The Father while He was in the garden praying before they came to take Him to be Crucified,” if it is possible please take this cup from Me yet not My will but Your’s be done”, don’t you think that if God had some other plan that could achieve His final objective He might have scraped this one and started over. You are subject to a lot of what has become traditional false teaching and they even twist the very Word of God to do it. God Created the Angels, you cannot blame mankind for them falling, exactly one third of them, is that some kind of coincidence? They have no hope of Salvation only to look forward to the lake of fire. Do you think that God made some kind of mistake with them? I think that you have a very low opinion of the ability of The God who Created this universe and all that he made, you need to revise your understanding of the word perfect. God’s Plan has always been perfect and the final achievement will be perfect and God will have demonstrated all of His attributes.

The village atheists are getting pissed. Arms flailing murderously toward anyone brave enough to mention God the Creator. The great Chuck Missler had a magnificent lecture on the improbability of evolution. In essence, in the science of mathematics there is a point when an event is deemed an impossibility. From memory that point is something like 1 chance in 10 with another 15 or so zeros after it. I may be wrong on the actual number but from a mathematical point of view it is deemed impossible. Evolution, he explained, even surpasses that point of impossibility. Therefore, science itself says evolution is a fairytale for adult babies and the faithful in the religion of scientism and star trek.

As for the lack of human fossils, it is hypothesized that there weren't that many humans at that time if the Ark wasn't made just for Noah's family and the animals, but the entire human race. This is based on the idea that if Noah was a preacher of righteousness by telling people to repent and be saved from the coming calamity, then the boat had to be big enough to accommodate all human beings at that time in order for the chance to be saved to be possible. The only creature that does disturb me, although it's also possible it's proof of mankind being as advanced as we are today pre-flood (genetic engineering) but the creature is the platypus, there's just something very strange about a poisonous beaver duck !! Lol either way I'm glad the creator at least stopped at one poisonous mammal from an egg! If a basilisk comes from a roosters egg , what caused the platypus? 😆 🤣

Snelling has been published in standard geological publications estimating the age of geological specimens in billions of years, but has also written articles for creationist journals in which he supports a young-earth creationism viewpoint. Don't you Creationists have problems with his credibility? It's a pity that these people with credentials don't have their qualifications removed when they so flagrantly lie. Heck in law that happens, look at Rudy Guiliani, haha.

@@ByGraceThroughFaith777 Hi, as you're aware KZbin don't allow you to post links but I've found details of his published work for mining companies in Australia. Here's an excerpt where Snelling firmly places the earth at billions of years old. I suggest that you copy the excerpt to find the published article. I guess that uranium mining takes precident over beliefs if the price is right. "The Archaean basement consists of domes of granitoids and granitic gneisses (the Nanambu Complex), the nearest outcrop being 5 km to the north. Some of the lowermost overlying Proterozoic metasediments were accreted to these domes during amphibolite grade regional metamorphism (5 to 8 kb and 550° to 630° C) at 1870 to 1800 Myr. Multiple isoclinal recumbent folding accompanied metamorphism."
