@@firedragon04 I tried the Colossus, I just don't understand tanks. I died so much with it! I would like to see some theory crafting videos. I know the numbers of the demo will change. I just have a hunch that "storm OPness" is a fallacy and that the damage buff from interceptor and ranger outweigh the dps of the storm.

Played Storm and Ranger during demo, but this video shifts Interceptor to the 2nd Javelin up my list, perhaps even first. This is among the best footage that showcases Interceptor range of abilities.

Spark Dash definitely makes me interested in the Interceptor (played Storm during the demo). I loved to prime enemies in ME:A and then detonate them with charge...

👌 This is perfect. Sadly Anthem lacks the in-game preview that games such as Division have and therefore would require a time-consuming amount of swapping and re-loading field missions to see. This was a big help (and also confirms that Josh was already using his ideal build. Lol)

It is great but it very quickly runs out of stuff to do and doesn’t really nail the landing so to say. EA also cancelled/pulled any support for additional content, patches and even a big rework called 2.0.

They need to fix the dash to target where my crosshairs are not the direction my javelin is facing... it causes me to miss enemies quite a bit.

This suit is OP Spamming plasma star while it throws 4 and has a 2 second cooldown does hefty damage

with the combo effect with interceptor, do you just have to be near a enemy with a current aura for it to chain to them?

Yep, it passes by just being near enemies, some enemies take a little longer to 'be afflicted' by the elemental status though.

Man, I wish Spark Dash wasn't so terrible. At least it MEA it went the direction of the aim reticle. In Anthem it goes towards the characters current direction. Plus it doesn't work in melee range.

David Compart the devs have said it will act more like we want it to in the release build of the game. So it’l be based on the aim rather than character direction. So there’s that to look forward too!

Man I wonder what the best load out is here. Might be best to go full detonator to combo with the squad. Im torn between the Interceptor and the Ranger for sure. To me it seems Interceptor is close range single target and Ranges is mid range single target.

I think solo a good ability load out would be Spark Dash and Detonating Strike. For group play if you've got other people with primers, go Spark Dash and Tempest Strike.

@@firedragon04 Personally, after playing Interceptor and knowing how frequent melee is used (which is a detonator as you know), for solo I would go venom bomb and venom spray to prime as many as possible, and detonate with melee. Plus, no matter what you fight, everything has armor, which acid is good against, and not everything has shields. P.S. Love your vids! You're a Godsend!

I should have yeah, I tried to focus just purely on the abilities but that triple dash is especially useful for clearing distance between enemies to keep the melee attacks going.

There seems to be another ability. “Deflector pulse” I never found it but in the challenges page for interceptor abilities it is there. I assume It would be a support power but again I’ve never seen it did you notice it during the demo?

This is sort of helped by the fact the interceptor's melee attacks(which have no cooldown) also detonates primed targets. This goes really well with it's combo type which creates an aura around the interceptor, thus making close range detonations favourable. I think it might be better to go with 2 primer abilities and use melee/ult to detonate them.

why interceptor has so trash abilities. All other javelins have explosions wow moments but interceptor feels meh.No explosions just daggers and glaives that are not even visible in game.

This game will be complete garbage when it first comes out. There is just too much missing. The garbage swimming controls, the horrible menus, no FOV slider, the bad servers, the bad skin designs that are most likely going to be over priced, no chat feature, VOICE CHAT IS DISABLED BY DEFAULT, the legendary effects are completely random and game changing making the grind insane, the rez mechanics are horrible (teammates don't even know you're dead half the time), and the horrible scaling for end game activities (just makes enemies have way more health and do more damage. So one shot bullet sponges is end game.) Not to mention that they are hiding all of the good cosmetics and the majority of the end game activities and the game is coming out in about a month. You would think they would at least tease them if they were ready for release. The devs for this game are great but I really think it will be a horrible launch that will become a decent game about 6 months after launch.

The majority of what I said is confirmed by the devs so it is not utter BS. The only thing that has been fixed that I know of is better flying mechanics and a better UI for rezing.

@@chasae1260 voice chat takes one second to turn on, and devs said they will have it on by default, read twitter end game scaling you know nothing about so drop it. menus are fine if not basic legendary items not having set abilities is a godsend so as I said, yes 99% of what you said is BS as you know nothing about endgame or scaling, you know nothing of servers in full game, you do not know anything about skin pricing, you are just a troll trying to sound smart and it is definitely not working champ. Get lost, I am done with you.

@@TwoLiterSoda The fact that one of the iterations of end game is just to increase enemy health and make them do more damage is ridiculous. The argument "I have no idea about..." is stupid because we have already seen iterations of endgame scaling and we at least know what they are thinking about doing with endgame. I understand you are trying to defend your new favorite game but at the same time you are killing it because you are not giving feedback to the devs. You are assuming they have added the features I talked about instead of reminding the devs that we need these features and that the game will be unplayable if they don't add these.

@@chasae1260 I don't think it'll take six months. Live service games are ALWAYS trouble on release and this is their first time doing it. But this dev team works hard and listens to feedback and there are a lot of examples of how to get this right. I would say three months maybe. Also, how would you suggest you make enemies stronger at higher difficulty without making them more bullet spongy or do more damage?
