Casuals are going to look at Ruiz and think how did Joshua lose to a bag of milk. The majority of Joshua's fan base are casuals. This is going to damage his reputation even more than if he were to get beaten by someone who 'looks' like a boxer. When Joshua was stood in the ring before the fight he was stood there leaning against the ropes with his gum shield going in and out of his mouth. He looked incredibly nervous, I've never seen him looking like that before. The things he was asking his corner aswel, it seemed like he was seriously panicking. Bruno never won an Olympic gold medal and became a world champion on his 15th fight. Come again, idiotic casual.

@ You're deluded to think Joshua is up there. He doesn't move his head and carries too much muscle. I was around for all Bruno fights and when he was in trouble, he was spent just like Joshua. If you call beating a bum like Charles martin an accomplishment in his 15th, then that shows not only are you the casual but you're also a bum. Good night.

Hatman you're a soothsayer!!! Your predictions are usually on point. Though one for AJ.

Congrats to Ruiz he fought a great fight. Thought Ruiz might of lost his chance by not pouncing but turned out the right move. Couldn't believe my eyes Haha. Look forward to the rematch.

when you look at AJs last few fights we should have seen this coming, he's always struggled against shorter fighters and add to the fact that Ruiz has quick hands it should have been obvious he might have trouble with him. I think Ruiz's physique caused people, including AJ, to not take him seriously enough, before the fight AJ was letting ruiz be photographed with his belts almost as if to say "here's your only chance of getting these, son"

It was such a devastating defeat that I don’t think AJ should even take the rematch right now. When Lewis lost to Rakman, you knew he was a much better boxer than Rakman for example. There was nothing in this fight last night that made me think AJ will definitely win the rematch. AJ fan here by the way.

SJT Fitness very true it could be like price vs Thompson which then could permanently damage AJ career

Its like Lewis vs Rachman all over again. Anthony Joshua now has a loss on his record, and needs to bounce back to cement his legacy. He also needs to do it in the USA, as he cant sneak a decision in the UK in the rematch without losing credibility
