Can you do shoulder overhead press and squats? How does it feel doing those movements. I need to convince my wife to let me get it haha

I also love long bar. My triceps were tiring with chest press on short bar. I like it for OHP and Calf raises also.

I have turned animal based/carnivore last 2 weeks. I found that I feel quite unwell with heart palpitations and feeling exhausted. I read from sally Norton about oxalate dumping. I was vegetarian/vegan for years did a lot of juicing and lots of dark chocolate…so makes sense toxins are leaving the body. I also suffer with methane sibo, which had heightened. So my question is pls….do you go gentle at first and maybe add some white rice pressure cooked to alleviate drop in blood sugar from no carbs and maybe have a small amount of oxalate food and taper off so as to be safe…to not overload the body or go all in..I go to the gym 4/5 times a week strength training and have found it difficult since starting due to all of the above.. Would be great if you could do a talk on people starting out that have eaten a lot of plant s and have a lot of toxic build up and a safe way to do this pls.. I am very grateful to have come across your channel and all the vital information you are sharing with us - thank you 🙏🏽

Sorry late to the party, you probable figured your diet out by now, but for the first few weeks on a no carb diet you loose minerals. In the first few days, you'll lose weight as glycogen reserves are broken down to release energy- weight loss is normal when your diet has no carbs. This process removes water, and loads of sodium, chloride, potassium, and magnesium, which you'll need to replenish.

Before I go in on this 3x I've got an injury from 18 months ago. Fell through a roof and on my way down I reached out and grabbed a truss. Ripped three muscles and one tendon in the shoulder. No rips were completely through the muscles and the tendon looks like a string now from what the docs say. I've been doing therapy with bands and the pain is slowly going away. Any chance doing this 3x stuff could rip mah arm out worse. And if it did what's the odds of fixing it after I pick it up off the floor. I am slowly improving right now but it's slow.

Longer bar is better. I ended up using another 2 bars I have from my free weights to get grip with how I wanted. I use a long straight bar and an ez curl bar...

You have to buy the small bar set up first and prove it with your receipt before you can view and buy other items on their website, it's ridiculous.

I like the idea of the bar. Just way too expensive for what it is mechanically. $550 base is just absurd. Love your content and carnivore changed my life. Just can't get behind this thing. Maybe if it ever gets a reasonable price of $150 or so.

That thing seems to restrict shoulder movement and putting heavy load on it at the same time. 150$ to destroy your shoulders seems like very expensive.

No its actually not over priced one bit. You and other in out society are just used to fitness devices being $150 dollars worth of a garbage eventually useless piece of equipment. The x3 is the real deal sir… i own one myself And am a part of the online community and I’ve witnessed amazing transformations! It pays for itself very quickly in more ways than one. It could honestly cost more for what its able to deliver

In my opinion the x 3 is one of the most impractical home work out items anyone could ever buy, in my opinion it is as impractical as it is expensive. And I would never buy one to work out with. The reason I would never buy one and use it to work out and to replace free weights and pully's is, that apparently there is a very limited movement using a bar. With dumbbells and a chest pull you have a lot more ability to work all three shoulder muscles, the chest, the back, and the arms because you can hit the muscle by moving with the muscle. And that goes for legs/thighs/calf's. Not something I would buy.
