Anthony is so good at that, not being judgement. I have been working on lucid dreaming since a teenager, and I can get to the point where I realize I am dreaming by triggers (light switches don't work, clocks don't show numbers that make any sense, cell phones don't work because, again, numbers don't make sense in my dreams). However, once I realize I am dreaming I have yet to learn to control the dream. I would aldo like to explore astral project but I need to master lucid dreaming first. Thanks Anthony, for bringing theses 3 Shifters , most of us just have not caught up with them yet. Thanks for expanding my mind, 🌹-melody ps. I've said it before but... I know you have a gf but I'm still totally in love with you. You are amazing! 🤍

@@sunmeowlody So I'm an experienced lucid dreamer who has been able to control most lucid dreams. In the recent years my lucid dreaming came to be less often and less vivid, but I'm recently trying to get back to it. Similarly to you, I come from this background of lucid dreaming and looking to level up to reality shifting, though I, like you, think I should master lucid dreaming first. Seems to me to be the core of the whole thing.
@Nashy1193 жыл бұрын
@@rockysandman5489 I would consider "reality shifting" to be somewhere between lucid dreaming with minimal control (just like meta thoughts about dreaming and the ability to continue/wake) and lucid dreaming with lots of control. They seem to be just setting up what they want to dream about by focusing on it, which isn't too hard in the right state of mind. Day dreaming in a very relaxed space would be the easiest way to practice.

They don't even know how reality works. Why not express proper doubt instead of spreading fantasy as if it were real? If they experience what they claim, it doesn't make sense to attribute it to what is described as "reality shifting". Why not accomodate the experience to something that actually makes sense instead of attributing the phenomenon to a generic made-up fantasy multi-verse like concept? Makes zero sense. I'm not even saying it's impossible for something like this to exist, but it's really weird and kinda concerning that people believe in baseless things due to mere sugestion even when a real scientific explanation exists to explain the phenomenon and debunk the claims associated to it.

Hiya, as someone who has been lucid dreaming since they were little, I feel it's important for people to know that it doesn't necessarily mean you can control your dreams, just that you're conscious of it. I've had dreams where I've built whole worlds, languages, and soundtracks - however I've also often had dreams where I'm completely helpless to my surroundings (I've had a fair few nightmares growing up that I've been eaten by various monsters and I don't wake up since I'm aware they're not real; I just couldn't manifest myself somewhere else). Most the time, I'm only able to manifest partially, for example: I want to fly but I can only hover or jump very high. Let me know if you have similar experiences or any questions :)

Im so glad I just clicked on this video as it’s made me realise I’ve been unknowingly doing this as long as I can remember… for me I think it’s 100% a trauma response as I’ve been severely ab*sed all my life as well as being born with a terminal genetic illness which has caused me to be paralysed, bedbound & spend more of my life in hospital than not on life support due to multi organ failure. So it’s defo escapism for me. I started doing it while head to toe paralysed on ICU & I realised I could live life in my head however I wanted without the physical limits of my conditions. And it’s been an extremely common thing for me ever since, both the awake & sleeping versions that they mentioned in the vid. Ill start the ‘story’ off as I’m falling asleep & then my dream will actually be about that thing which has been a big help for me since nightmares are a huge part of my cptsd so being able to like pre-plan non traumatic dreams is nice 😅 but the thing that I thought was normal which I started noticing was happening a couple years ago was I’d still be dreaming yet I was in control of what was happening like when I was trying to go to sleep. It’s sorta nice to be able to put a name to what I’ve been doing all this time & to know there’s others who do too as until now whenever I’ve described it to doctors or friends etc they’ve just been a bit like ‘what?! So you’re just reading yourself a story in ur head?’ Which obvs isn’t what I’m doing so I felt like a bit of a weirdo but continued anyway cause it does provide me comfort. I do it daily which is much more than these people but I’m ok with that given my circumstances, it’s not gonna take over my life cause I’m doing it when I literally can’t do anything else. And as shitty as my actual life can be, I still like to come back to it as my other reality is such the complete opposite that there’s lots of positive things in my life that aren’t in that reality so I come back for those. This has honestly given me such a cool insight to my own mind so thank you for that!

My ex-girlfriend is a shifter and she's the one who told me about it. One day at school, she came back to this reality during our Finnish class. She didn't remember anything that happened prior to that class and she told me and my friends that the version of her that was in this reality that day was a clone. She told us about the other reality she was in aswell. I was very skeptical about shifting at first and I still don't know if I believe it or not, but it sounds interesting. to clear things up as an og reality shifter she was referencing a tiktok where a girl said hermione was twerking and dumbledoor did the wap at a ball. yes, there is a reality where both these statements are true, but it's highly unlikely you'd shift to a reality where that has happened without a script. another main point of the viral tiktok was that it was unscripted.

usually life in your desired reality (the reality you shifted to) is a lot like here. you have boring days sometimes where you lay around and watch tv and not everything is fun 24/7, you get tired, you get hungry, and the quiet girl who focuses on her work doesn't start twerking every time she gets an answer right. yes, you can shift to a reality where every day is fun and your peers do that kind of thing but most people decide against this idea because a perfect day every day isn't really perfect at all

The reason it matters is because lucid dreaming is a concept that’s been around for a long time and has been studied and expanded upon. There’s educational material and known techniques that can be used to become lucid. Calling it something else erases all of that knowledge and causes people who don’t know any better to search for “reality shifting”, thus starting from scratch with new data from these teenagers that hasn’t been studied. Is like calling mathematics “mental number gymnastics”. Changing the name of something only creates unnecessary confusion.

I put it away for a few months before I checked on it again and then seeing that it was never ripped. As someone who’s known about reality shifting for years and originally brushed it off as Lucid dreaming I find it really unfortunate that it was mostly teenagers that were interviewed since it’s not a reliable source and they won’t be taken seriously. Likewise the oldest person involved is not a reality shifter and has literally made a video deeming it as lucid dreaming. There are plenty of experienced adults that take quantum physics into consideration and don’t rely on “TikTok trends” to inform people on the subject. I still appreciate how respectful the video was since it’s really hard to understand what reality shifting is actually about, specially with the way TikTok (and Draco fans?) popularized it. But people need to understand that there is still so much about the universe that has yet to be explored and will likely never be explained. Some people might rely on spirituality while others base their beliefs on the multiverse theory and CIA experiments, shifting can only be proven by personal experience and not in a scientific way. Gravity is a theory that cannot be entirely proven despite the overwhelming scientific evidence, yet we all still believe in it right? (Lmao I am not trying disproof the validity of gravity only brought it up gravity for dramatic effect it’s not that deep guys...)

@@theescapist9450 I’d suggest to do more research before you throw out info like that, maladaptive daydreaming only occurs when you are awake and it’s a real mental disorder which people struggle with, it shouldn’t be taken lightly as it’s a trauma response completely unrelated to reality shifting.

shifter/quantum jumper here! i absolutely hate that our practice has boiled down to draco malfoy stans LOLZ i’m glad this comment section is kinda positive i’m used to hate for my beliefs. i have been shifting since a young age because of my culture and the country i was raised in, so seeing people discredit it is upsetting.

@@jebbo-c1l I hope you grow up one day and realize that we live on a tiny floating rock, yet you're bashing a random person on the internet because you are too daft to research or try to understand the thing they enjoy and do understand as well as believe in. Maybe try doing a little more researching before attempting to make someone you dont and will probably never know stop believe in something that makes them happy . 🥰 luv u, shut up 🥰

I'm very glad that Anthony wasn't afraid to challenge that one girl. She seemed rather gatekeep-y and contradicted herself a few time. I'm glad to get a range of opinions, but we need to keep things positive when possible

can you tell me how you think she was being gatekeepy-y? 🤔
@Kristeau3 жыл бұрын
Sorry if I sounded gatekeep-y :( Throughout the entire interview I kept trying to not be since I hated how the experienced shifters would be gatekeeping info when I was just getting into the practice. Just for reference tho! A lot of the stuff I said was cut out and I was asked to form opinions regarding both sides of the argument of "if shifting is real or fake". They just chose what they wanted ig 😅

Daniel is not a reality shifter, he's a lucid dreamer. The reason why so many people know they're shifting and not lucid dreaming is because they can't breath when they pinch their nose.
