Hi Dr. Ellis! I would love if you could do a video on options for drooping eyelids/excess eyelid skin, including your thoughts on brow lifts and blepharoplasty vs lasers and topical treatments, etc. My eyelids really bother me but I feel too young to have plastic surgery right now (maybe ever), but I honestly really doubt any other option would give significant and lasting results. I’m the type of person who would choose to either do nothing or do the expensive definitely effective option rather than waste time and money on in between options that would barely make a difference, if it makes a difference at all, so would love your opinion!

Look up the Fotona laser SmoothEye procedure. It's an erbium laser treatment for skin tightening. I've had it done and while it's not comfortable during the procedure, the results were very natural looking instead of the tight blepharoplasty appearance.

NeoGen Plasma paired with SkinMedica TNS Advanced+ Serum has been awesome for my eyes! I've been quite persistent with it, doing NeoGen every few months or so. I think my longest break between treatments was like 6 months. You may be able to go longer because it can take time for collagen to build, but I would wait at least 3 months between sessions. I go for high energy rather than low for the biggest bang for my buck. Getting enough sleep regularly also makes a noticeable difference.

I have rosacea and had many broken visible blood vessels. I received laser treatment for my condition. First treatment was hairline to under my chin and ear to ear. I swelled up like a raspberry, swollen and bumpy. It was painful and the swelling remained for several weeks and then my skin flaked and shedded. But it was very effective and after three treatments six weeks apart my skin is greatly improved and I follow up every six months to maintain the absence of broken blood vessels.. prior to the laser treatments I required green skin primer for the redness. Now the green primer is no longer required… I am very happy with my results. BTY I started treatment at 73 years old.
