Whenever I’m designing a character in my head it’s usually what’s their role and I look up examples on how they normally look one of them I made took a basic concept like tank and worked how they would look by studying how games design tank based characters and I looked at how come of the iron man more heavy suits look before designing it

With Overwatch characters you can see at a glance what they do (big guy with a hammer, spider woman with a sniper rifle, teenager in a mech), but the Concord designs are just dudes in coats, more like live action actors than distinctive characters in a Borderlands like setting.

The character designs themselves just remind me of the concept stage. It felt like it tiptoed the line of just throwing everything all together randomly and calling it a day. Yet still somehow wanting to try too hard? With each design, there’s no clear cue which can indicate a character and their highlighted roles. To me, it felt like everyone was the same. All that helps the player understand that "Woah, big guy, lotta health and damage" due to just instincts. Roadhog is big and easy identifiable as being a tank with a lotta health and armour. Also he design is striking as a biker with the mask and pig motif. (Big belly, pig button all that) So that makes him stand out from someline Heavy who is more wide while Roadhog is more frontal wide.

Yeah, that "prejudice plus power" idea doesn't make sense to me as the only definition when obviously interpersonal interactions would still be called "racist" from an observer's perspective. If a white guy passing through a predominantly black neighborhood was beaten to death by black men for being in that part of town, it would be illogical to claim "nah, that wasn't racist." I'm quite happy how my life has shaken out that I still love games and I still love a lot of what is coming out. It's neat to see different views be expressed in games when it used to be a loot less free as an art form. Playing SMT5 Vengeance now mostly for mechanical enjoyment but when a character comes out and blatantly says that hierarchies oppress humanity and should be broken down... It makes me kind of proud that gaming has matured so much.

Personally I've found getting older that I don't like to game any less like I thought, but more that my tastes in games have changed. I had to find other stuff I'd never tried before to get that same excitement as when I was a kid. Late, but a Limiter doesn't fix that problem! You should be using a Noise Gate instead. That way, any sounds softer than a certain threshold (that you set) will shut the mic off, and only anything louder (your voice) will turn the mic on. Hope this helps!
