Thanks Pooky, these simple comments are so important and effective when talking to others of any age. They also help us when we need them, my favourite and most useful for myself is still, ‘You’ve done this before, you can do it again.' Yes! Lots of my stuff does to be honest, I just always think of children first because I'm usually training parents / teachers etc - but these ideas are completely transferable I think!
