Hey Kayla I also live in the DMV! Grew up in falls church literally down the street from the mosaic. Just purchased a condo near the Mosaic. I could see you living in Vienna, Tyson’s or falls church. Super walkable around these area, metro, shopping, activities and diversity! This area is so dog friendly as well dogs everywhere. If you want the more modern feel go toward Tyson’s. Adaire in Tyson’s , broad apartments in Tyson’s, the Lumens are new probably pricy. Prosperity flats is sooo great it’s located around the corner from Dunloring. Also around Dunloring is the Halsteads. The kingstons in Tyson’s are nice too not sure of the price range. Scout on the circle in Fairfax it’s about 5-8 mins from Mosaic. I have a bunch in mind let me know if you need anymore advice!

I love the Fairfax, Mosaic district. Very suburban. Location is great and close to multiple grocery stores, food, coffee shops, malls, metro, etc and pet friendly.

I live in Ktown and i’m not moving until i move in with a man bc I lucked up during covid and got a jr 1br for 1700 (pay 1900 now) with gym, pool & parking included 😅 Apts in LA have gotten so expensive. I’m staying put 😂

2500 seems like a lot for rent when you could stay home for a little longer and save for a home

I agree!! Save for a cute small house if you can qualify & afford a $2500 rent comfortably. Just save for the down payment (& additional fees, closing cost, etc. whatever you qualify for, try to aim for a house on the lower end instead of the top of what you qualify for to avoid being house poor), make sure your credit is good and lower any debt you have. Debt free is of course best if that’s possible. Invest in yourself! (:
