You and bluegrass are part of my morning routine, walking a mile first thing, just to wake the body up. I have a 30 min window, so I have to play you guys at 1.25x or 1.5x, so unfortunately I lose some of the southern accents. Looking forward to your eventual "what gear works, what hasn't" video!

I had an idea of how you may want to show your hikes when you slack pack walking south on the trail. Normally you hold the camera in your right hand and when you video yourself it appears you are walking from left to right. When actually walking south on the trail if you filmed with your left hand it would appear you were walking from right to left and would appear different on the video. This would give a different perspective to your videos.

Moss tents are great tents, hard to find. Either eBay or owner of one. But few will sell theirs...like me. Very well made. A magazine editor years ago put up various tents in his yard in winter, Idaho, and only the Moss was standing at winters end. Find one if you can.

Bandit, when you're in those rocks I hope that you will talk, sing, whistle, or otherwise make plenty of noise to let the snakes know that you're there. Their vision is poor, so poor that I wonder how so many of them get through law school.

Hahahahaha. We’ve been fortunate and haven’t seen many. Other hikers are seeing lots of rattlesnakes. Either they’re hiding when we go by, or we walk right past them without even seeing them.

Doesn't matter what others think on your on and off trail hiking and hostels, Hike your own hike! Great first view! You both inspire me to get out there more, one year I will have a complete thru hike, just enjoying parts of the trails now. Glad you and Bluegrass are together, I am sure you encourage one another. Hahaha. Glad you’re enjoying the videos. Since I’m retired, I plan to do other hikes and gear reviews once this is done, so I’ll likely be around a while. Bluegrass will likely go back to work somewhere, but he may continue to put some out as well.
