I went thru a wild fire once, we didn’t leave when the helicopters came over on a speaker to evacuate. That was terrifying, I never want to go thru that ever again ...... we were lucky , we only lost our barn the house had a medal roof which helped us and was saved. The embers were flying thru the sky in the wind it created , which only started more fires. Went thru therapy for a couple months because I had nightmares it would restart in the night months after it was put out......😢. God bless you all. Much thanks to all the fire fighters and dozers etc. that fight these disasters.

I know a local fire chief who had his leg broken in hockey because they were all jealous of his position. They're all COPS, too.
