This is me. I got a refurbished iPhone 6S Plus this week and this thing is rad. It looks brand new, it's super fast and it only cost $150. I'll never spend anywhere close to $1,000 for a phone. Even $500 is too much considering how fast they lose their value. I have no problem being a few years behind. People keep trying to sell the iPhone SE 2 as only costing $400 but with tax, Airpods and adapter we're back to spending $700+ for a supposedly "low priced" phone. No, thanks.

Upside down rotation is useful when laying in bed and charging the phone with the phone rested on your chest/stomach. Doing that usually breaks your charger after a few weeks or months and if it's upside down the charger hangs off the top and doesn't break.

Exactly. Both OSes have “borrowed” from each other. Early builds of the Android OS were more akin to BBOS until the first iOS was released. Then, they focused on the touchscreen and eventually multitouch (the earliest Android phones didn’t have multitouch).

I got my iPhone 6+ mid December coming from a Galaxy Note 3 and so far my experience has been great, no lag, awesome battery life and using my iPads charger, fast charging..., totally satisfied and will probably be getting the next iPhone plus version especially if it has a higher megapixel count camera and am super stoked to see what the future of apple devices

Just got the same 6+ ... Had it for about a week now. 1st iPhone ever! And I absolutely love it! After being an Droid user of 8+ years. I will never go back to Droid. Video footage is so FLUID it is mind blowing 1080p @ 60 fps. Never seen anything like it! Pictures are crisp!!!! I play "asphalt 8" and the clarity/ graphics are just amazing! Highly recommend the iPhone 6+ in 2017👌🏼

The Galaxy S3 is significantly smaller than the 6 Plus. Those who like the bigger screen size of the 6 Plus (including myself) wouldn't complain about the screen size of the Samsung phablets (Note, etc.). I don't use the Note for other reasons, but screen size is not a complaint. Don't say mind-reading bullshit about others.

Upside-down rotation has a few purposes. It's good for taking pictures in situations when you need to have a really good grip on the phone (like while in motion, etc.). Having it upside-down lets you use to hand to hold firmly and still use your thumb to hit the button to take the picture. It's also good for times when a plug or stand or something prevents you from running the cord to the bottom of the phone (like propping it up on a counter or something while trying to charge it).

I have an iPhone 6 plus. I'll tell you my experience My 3G is on all day and with extensive use my battery didn't drain like the 5S I charged my phone upto 60% at 12PM and till 1AM my battery was down to 31%. Which in my opinion was not bad

I have a 6 Plus, the battery life is quite amazing - once I got past the first 2 days or so which was all constantly downloading and updating apps I rarely get to the very end of the day have the battery life below 40%. On Sunday I used my iPhone to sit around, watch football on it via Slingbox app all afternoon and using bluetooth headphones and wifi (5+ hours), used it to play games for probably another couple of hours, then listened to a bunch of podcasts, read some web sites, etc. I had to change my bluetooth stereo headset at night since it was dying (8 hours on a charge for those) and still, even with all of that, at the end of the day I was around 33%.

I really loathed this phone when it was first announced, thought it looks cheap and half assed, and offers no real advantages when compared to the cheaper iPhone 6. Note: I use an HTC One M8 as my daily driver and an iPhone for work. *used to* have a 5S. But then I got some hands on experience with the phone, and let me tell you something... *ERMAHGERD* I loved it so much ended up buying it and now I use it even more than the One M8. The iPhone 6 Plus doesn't have a quad HD display, with that being said, it's still one of the best displays out there. Why? It has a standard RGB gamut and accurate gamma figures, which results in very good, natural looking colors overall. And seriously, quad HD displays and Full HD displays look almost the same in terms of sharpness, I honestly couldn't care less if it's 1080p or quad HD. The battery life is amazing. If I'm careful I can completely forget about charging it for 2 full days. It's incredibly smooth, no lag or frame rate drops. None. Whatsoever. It's even faster than the One M8. The build quality is actually pretty damn good IRL, I also got the black version and it looks and feels fantastic. The camera is absolutely AMAZING. I can't stress this enough. And I just love the idea of having an iPhone with a huge display and curved glass. Somehow it just works really freakin well. IOS couldn't look or work any better than on the 6 Plus. It was expensive, but I regret nothing.

Last week I finally got my iPhone 6+. Operating it with one hand isn't easy as your hand gets tired fast but you get used to it. It still rests on your fingers nicely. But slipperiness is a problem. Gotta get a case on it pronto.
