And the part about the push being an accident??? You don’t accidentally push someone, a push is an intentional act. If it was an accident, you wouldn’t say you were pushed, you would say that someone bumped into you. It’s very easy to tell the difference between someone bumping into you and someone pushing you with their hands.

I'm so thankful that my FIL, and MIL were Saints. Their kids not so much. The last Xmas Dinner with her siblings we got the children gifts, and the Adults were supposed to get cards for that day. My Beloved ( God Rest Her Soul ) was given one card from them, and it said "Merry Xmas Barb B." We had been married for over 20yrs at this point, also her Parents were deceased at this point. They all knew her name was now was Barb S. When she was given the card she handed it to me, and when I handed it back to her She ripped it into several thousand pieces, and said to them "Go To "Heck" you pieces of Garbage!" We had driven over 10hrs to be with them. We were supposed to be there for several days. The next day we left the Hotel, and drove 10hrs. back to our home. There are a few stories after this that I will tell if you want to hear them.

Do any of these marriages have marriage counseling before the wedding? Why have the wifes not tell their parents or other family of what is happening to them. Better yet just walkout on the abuser when it starts, tell hubby to handle all the chores at his parents and you go home or to your parents.

She should have been more forceful when she recounted the event of "falling down the stairs" Yes she piled stuff on to me, yes she did push me down the stairs, I mean that approach in the beginning was, "Maybe" "I don't know" I am not saying his attitude toward her was right, no he was inconsiderate and callous but she also could've pointed out the difference between when she was there, dinners being served differently than her, and any other issues! And " issues with inlaws" Do my family mistreat you? Should've been the killer of that Mentality! But at least towards the end she stood up for herself! And for that Great ending! Lmao, I seem to attract Mommas boys but My deceased ex husband and current Husbands are only sons and Yeah I had My toxic MIL, Before MIL died I called her out on mistreating my Kids differently from her first Grand kid, " I called her the worst Grandmother" and some others horrible things after making my 14 yrs old take her sister to the Hospital with a 103 fever instead of her and her Husband! All 3 of them are Dead! My current MIL tried to avoid talking to me about things that concern me by asking her son! I cut her up so bad by telling her to her face, Stop Trying to avoid me when shit concern me and Mind your own damn Business. She and her Husband, Left me to pay moving costs of thier Items in my storage unit and didn't say thank you or offer a fraction of payment essentially I paid for 2 moving costs, so I told them I and my kids will keep our distance if they don't pay me our Money for the entire cost of thier Move! My husband will be around them I won't stop him from seeing his parents, but Don't ask us to do a damn thing for them! Its been 7 months I haven't seen or spoken to them and my Husband has stop going to see them! And I have yet gotten my money from them!
@Icyangel10
@Icyangel10 Жыл бұрын
They should have sat down & talked things out since the husband was having trouble thinking about this but he also kinda went too far. He dismissed his wife's concerns, the fact she got badly injured on stairs he claimed shouldn't be that bad should be at least brought into question & he had the audacity to try making his wife care for his mom. Even if he didn't believe his mom hurt his wife he should know better than to make his wife be around her when HE knows there are issues between his wife & mom let alone the fact his wife said no. This idiot then had the audacity to threaten divorce over it. Made worse by the fact he was oblivious to his mom being a bitch in front of him & thought nothing of it, EVEN trying to defend it in a sense(using the excuse of thinking in-law issues were normal) when called out for it. Yeah there's being obviously & having trouble processing the idea someone you care about could be a bully but not trying to keep the parties involved separated & never taking your spouse's worries seriously?

Because it shows how timid they are around their husbands as if that's the way it's supposed to be. If something is wrong ladies, speak UP and do it at the beginning of the problem, don't take the abuse whether vocal, emotional or physical. Get proof somehow if you have to, some will never believe it even when done in front of them, it's just their mentality to say like him, they'd never do it. Do it before kids, or you may not be able to get a divorce so easily

I don't understand why there is no communication between husband and wife. Wife is being bullied and abused by MIL and doesn't say anything. I'm glad she eventually spoke up, but she should have told him as soon as she noticed MIL's differential treatment. Why isn't the wife suing MIL? Why does hubby think it is common for MILs to hate DILs? Hate is not normal. Why is the husband so quick to defend his mom? Now, he's using divorce and money to try and control Emma. Who is he raising his voice at? Now that she agreed, he's changing his tune and fake apologizing. He's a bully and an abuser just like his mom.

You haven't been abused and bullied by your in-laws, have you? Abuse and neglect are also causes for divorce. DIL would have been a giant fool to stay there and continue to let MIL abuse her. Now MIL's precious little boy can care for his mom. Oh wait. Sonny boy doesn't want to take care of his beloved mother. He threatened her with divorce proving that he is as much of a bully and abuser as his mother. When she agreed, he changed his mind. He is controlling.
