Apple butter will stick and burn if not stirred CONSTANTLY. Amish and Mennonite communities used to make it in huge batches in copper cauldrons as a group activity where everyone had to take their turn stirring with the paddle. 😅 It's best to cook the apples first until they are soft, then puree, then add sugar and spices, then cook, stirring constantly, until thick.

If you did half of the recipe, you need to cook it for half the time

Oh yeah, every time I cook 1 egg, it takes 5 minutes, but when I'm cooking 10, I have to cook them for 50 minutes
@ChocolateMan1429 ай бұрын
@@schnizel6666 you are boiling the water which cookes the eggs, for example 2L of water will take more time to boile than 1L of water

@ChocolateMan142 I mean yeah, but this isn't the most likely case here, I bet he didn't cook it on the lowest heat 😂
@oneisha35489 ай бұрын
Even on the lowest heat he’ll need to lessen the cooking time. He’s using 3lbs which is about 8 apples, if she’s using 6lbs it’s going to take longer to cook.

bruh I really wanted you to do the apple butter. It's so good. I didn't mind the cutting the recipe in half but...I mean it gets you views. Usually you do it all correctly lol

That ending was actually so damn funny, if i were you i would have checked the apples constantly to make sure they didn't end up like that, but keep up the good work!!
