I loved how real the lesson was, so good. And I was shocked to see Iron Will again, never would have thought we'd see him again, although I shouldn't have been so surprised, MLP likes to bring characters back previous episodes after all. And Spike was so great! The fact that he was willing to stay behind to let Twilight be with her family on the cruise was just so amazing to see from him, Twilight needs to pay him back in some way, maybe some nice gems or something for him. Overall a good episode, great reaction and can't wait for more! XD.

@Noah Maldonado No, it's spelled Black *Gryph0n* , with a zero. And it's really sad that Gabe never got to voice any characters in the show 😓 Mostly because when he was friends with one of staffers, he would sing demos of the songs that were being written for MLP:FiM and the demos would sent to higher-ups for approval. So since he was a part of the production process, he couldn't appear in an actual episode (except for a few background voices from time to time) A waist of great talent if you ask me 😔

I'm in strong disagreement with the writers of this episode. They made such a huge deal of Twilight apologizing to this random pony who happened to win something and ended up invading Twilight's space, stalking her, cutting her off, and all together annoying her ALL DAY LONG, and when she accidentally step on his hoof, *says sorry,* and then uses this occasion to tell him his wrongs (which she should have done earlier, I agree), he didn't even acknowledge them and simply got offended. While it's clear that Twilight should apologize to him, it's unfair to make it seem like a huge offense, by having Twilight mention the fact that she "owes somepony" an apology (not naming which pony as if it's obvious), and then deeply apologizing to him and admitting her own wrongs, all while him still ignoring his. Twilight apologizing to him should have been done in just a single sentence, or even just implied. Another thing I don't like is that Twilight did miss watching the stars, which was the one thing that she did all of this for. Sure, she also wanted to be a good princess and not let anypony down, but I really think that viewing the stars at the end was the thing that motivated her to keep this whole thing going and keep obeying the annoying things that Iron Will forced her to do, all while keeping her from spending time from her family, which was the point of the cruise for her at the start. She made a poor choice of making a deal with Iron Will because she puts everypony before herself, and she still paid the price for this "error". Not fair. Those 2 reasons are why this is one of the worst episodes of the show to my likings.

I love Iron Will. He is such a great antagonist. Not evil, and not nearly as overtly deceptive as the flim flam brothers. He never lies to anyone, he just relies on people being dumb. He could have cancelled the trip immediately and kept the money, but was willing to work the ship. This episode was 100x better than stranger than fan fiction. The only cringe was the star pony who wanted to get tossed off the ship.

So, apparently the title in and of itself is a reference. Air ships are called zeppelins, but this word is Zepplin (note the spelling), which I believe to be a reference to Led Zepplin. *UPDATE* : Apparently it's been confirmed that they actually just misspelled the word "zeppelin" in the title of the episode, but it still could have been a clever reference. In any case, where's the quality control people?! XD

Celebrities may be locked down by a convention contract, but sometimes they can get away for a while if the queue is empty. I think there were a few times at a sci-fi convention an actor wouldn't be as well known so he had lots of spare time to just walk around the convention. Good opportunity to just hang out as normal people not talking about what they've played in.

I just don't quiet understand why Twilight apologized to Star Tracker? He just caused this to himself, that pony should really know the boundaries. Plus he didn't even consider to realize that he's invading the personal space of a princess. There's a difference between spending some quality time with someone, and just being a bubblegum that sticks to others ass the whole time. The lesson in this episode was pretty solid, always read carefully every contract before you sign it, because the consequences will be your own risk. I'm surprised that Twilight just let Spike take care of Twilight's royal paper works, I don't think that was a bright idea from Twilight's part since we know what happened last time when we saw Spike taking care of royal duties. Hint, hint "Princess Spike". She probably should have asked someone else who's more experienced with royal paper works like, Luna or Celestia. I'm glad that they returned Iron Will, it's been a very long time since we last saw him, I've honestly never expected to see him once again, I've been kept telling myself how cool it would be if they returned him, well I guess my wish has been granted. One thing I was confused about is how did Twilight recognized Iron Will at first glance? Even if her friends told her about him, she still shouldn't have recognized him by how he looks. Unless if her friends told her about him in every detail, then I can understand how she identified him. I gotta love how they showed some character development of Twilight's parents, at least we get to know more about them, especially that Twilight's mom really likes bungee jumping and her dad really likes bingo. I also love how they clearly showed that Twilight's mom is the pony who's more likely into crazy things, perfectly showing from where Twilight inherited her crazy personality and how her dad is more likely the cautious and observer type which also explains Twilight's concern if something is out of schedule. Shining Armor has air sickness, interesting fact to know. I guess that's it, I pretty much covered everything about this episode. Really good episode, with some really good character development. I think this is an another episode that goes into my favorite episode's list which currently contains almost the whole season 7.

Twilight's mom is apparently pretty good with magic herself. She could levitate herself, plus Flurry plus Shining all at once. I think we've only seen Starlight levitate herself before. Littlepip levitated herself and Xephyr before but even she struggled to do that.

I remember one BronyCon I went to that had John DeLancy there and I swear the line was gigantic. I so wanted to meet him and get a photo, but he was moving a bit quick and we were barely posed for ten seconds for the picture before he movied on. It felt a little cold. it was only later I heard he'd been pushing himself, working though meal breaks, determined to meet with as many fans as possible that I felt so guilty. I would gladly have stepped back and given him space if I'd known what a madhouse things had become. Amazing as it was to meet the tallent behind the show, I wanted to give them as much respect and space as they needed.

This was a really really great episode. Also a great reaction, just, loved your freakout the moment Twi's parents were mentioned. As to the major thing and the... other 'meta' 'fandom' ep... damn this one is just better on every conceivable level and how that one should have been. The fans were excited, but not strawman'ed assholes or idiots, the plot actually makes sense, and the story works even without the need to ONLY view it from the meta-perspective alone to make any sense out of it. The fans were over the top and a bit to in Twi's face, but at the same time, they paid for a cruise explicitly to spend time with her and had no way of knowing she wasn't in on that. And were fully respectful once she asked them to back off a bit. Just, this is how you do that type of thing RIGHT! Also, I'm more and more convinced that that ep is just straight out of continuity, between how nothing of something that major is even hinted at, despite not being resolved at all, and even bigger, Daring Done? and the fact that it's still a secret that Daring is real and also AK, given Fame had the Mane 6 be assholes who spilled her secret to the whole world. Also not really time to work in that scene with the CMC into Marks, and the lack of it having any mention in that ep either. The rest.... ohhh this was such a GOOOOOD ep, was enjoying it.. but that ending.. just... right in the feels. Cadance was awesome, Flurry was adorable, Shining was a huge dork, and the parents... ohhhhhhhh they were amazing. We really do need more of Velvet, and yes her and Windy together would be AMAZING! Hell I want a Mare's only trip to Las Pegasus with Windy, Velvet, and Mrs. Shy. Iron Will...... holy buck the "Grunkel Stan" thing really is rather spot on.... And yeah he's shady and underhanded here, and in the wrong, but.. if you look at it a certain way... well still morally wrong, but he seems to be a solid Lawful Neutral. He will respect and honor any deal he makes, is true to his word, and did give the full disclosure in the forms they signed, it's not his fault if they don't read it after all would be his thinking. Which does give him an edge and make him better then Flim and Flam. Who are just con men. But again, great reaction to a great episode.

I have to totally agree with everything you said on the commentary on the end. But the one thing that I'm peeved about is the family at the end. Twilight spend the whole time to organize and planning out the family activities and she said she wanted out of everything to see with the family is the shooting stars. You would think the family would want to stop Twilight on what she is doing so she can see it with them. But no they where selfish and even commented on how wonderful it was knowing how much she wanted to see it. I personally think Twilight's family really fudged up here.

What I hate about this episode is that when Twilight is crying because she missed the Northern stars her family Tells Twilight the stars were breath taking and so happy they could cry this shows that twilight’s family doesn’t love her at all
