I smiled big for Myles. What a story! He deserved that so much...and I'm thrilled he got to enjoy his final years with it. That is a Rock story for the ages.

You just made me weep again sayin' that...I don't mind that I was 14 when I first heard April Wine...or that I'm 57 now...but to know someone so talented and good is gone hurts. I felt the same way when Neil Peart passed...and Dwight Twilley died of either a massive stroke or the resultant car crash two months back. Memories, all...good ones. In time, the pain will wear down but the good never will. Thank God for that much.

Myles is holding the guitar in 1979 at the 00:33 mark. Notice the same shirt, wardrobe, hair, and age as the photos on the back cover of Harder... Faster. He probably lost the guitar at the earliest, in 1980. At 2:04 when he's talking about all the great hits that the guitar missed... he's either lying or completely forgot that the guitar was still very much in his possession.

You must be mistaken
@hartleyroadmusic2 жыл бұрын
@@samslick9000 Nope. There are dozens of examples proving my point.
@docsava2 жыл бұрын
You're right and wrong. It does appear to be the same shirt in the photo of him holding the guitar but, it was either a favorite shirt and he may have had many or he's drinking a really old 7up because that 7up can is from 1972 and was no longer around in 79 and up. So there's absolutely no reason to doubt the photo is from that time. I had a few favorite shirts that performed in and wore them on and off for over ten years.
@hartleyroadmusic2 жыл бұрын
@@docsava you’re confused. There are lots of photos that have been revealed of Myles with this guitar in the very late 70’s. Do a little more research before you accuse someone of being wrong.
