I don't get it but it probably because I'm not a native English speaker. What does it mean anyway? The "despite everything it still you" and other things it says.

@@BlossomPathOnStage15 You come across a mirror in the first area. Interacting with the mirror says "It's you!" which is pretty straight forward. Later on, another mirror (the one in the grey house) appears. This time, it says, "Despite everything, it's still you." It's about everything that's happened during the protagonist's journey, all the people they met, all the people they had to fight and all they places they had been to. It's about how the protagonist stayed true to themselves despite all of it. That they were the same as themselves at the start of the game. At the end, you have "Still just you, Frisk." Which takes from the last message and adds everything that happened during the final battle. Even experiencing that didn't stop the player from being true to themself. Also, Frisk is the name of protagonist as you come to know at the end.

The game was also made in Japanese in its development stage, as Toby Fox can speak Japanese and a few Japanese speaking devs helped him.

It was in no way made in Japanese. It was localized by the JP EN localization and publishing house 8-4, done with many script notes Toby Fox made during development and feedback from him to make sure things translated to his original intent, and was released in mid-2017. It's all been stated in interviews and a book about the process by Tomato.

Love how with all feelings and emotions that phrases invoke, many people overlook how mirror phrases give away narrator personality "Its you" "Despite everything, its still you" "Its me, Chara" so person who look in the mirror is Frisk and person who commented that is Chara (and yes red text appear outside of genocide in the phrases of white text narrator. Yet still encountered people who think that main narrator is Gaster or something lol. Althrough i can see why they would think that if they played Deltarune first)
