You were the first one I ever found that introduced me to aquascaping of this caliber! You and this wonderful Aquarium the Aquascaper 1200... have been an ongoing inspiration and education! What a journey indeed! This is what my dream of what a "forever aquarium" would be! I didn't fully know the story of how it became the Aquascaper 1200... it's always fun to know the history of things that interests me🙏 You already know that I enjoy the podcast as well! Especially as somebody who follows you and have seen you in action,. It's easy to picture what you're talkin about while you and your wife discuss different Topics and aspects of aquascaping! You two are a pleasure to listen to! Thank you so much for sharing your journey!! It just makes me excited to see what and where the future of George Farmer, in this hobby and industry will go from here!!! God bless you and your family George! For me and my journey has just begun and what a foundation I have found with you! Best wishes... This is full circle. I started watching your channel because you - as one of the very few in the aqua scraping world - showed a planted discus tank. Instantly hooked... There is no doubt that the planted discus tank is a huge challenge. High temperatures vs. plants. High bioload vs. plants. BUT if someone can make it, then it’s you! I really look forward to be inspired by your new journey and have just decided, that I will set up a planted discus tank myself, so please get started so we all can start learning! For fish I would go hatchetfish, neon tetra and cory’s... something great to look at all level in the aquarium 😄

Good Evening George, I love your honest and down to earth approach to the hobby. And I totally appreciate your honest input and reviews of not only the equipment but of your experience and lessons learned through the years. Your honesty is highly appreciated. Can’t wait to see your discuss tank. I have currently come back to the hobby after a eight year break from it. This time I bought a 75 gallon tank in which I decided to go with a dirted tank. Plants are doing well, I just started dosing with pressurized CO2 and the explosion in growth from the plants is extremely visible. Once again, thank you for your fresh and honest approach to this wonderful hobby. Very Respectfully, Carlos A. González.

Also, at least you won’t have to worry about the micro bubbles anymore. I applaud your ability to move on to try new things and do what makes you happy. It is really sad to tear this beautiful tank down. I only start to follow this tank late last year and from this series i have learned a lot from you especially the part about planting densely and lots of water change for new tank. In fact, i just re-scaped my 60cm high tank last week, with loads of plants and there are loads of left over. I also try to do daily 50% water change and so far no algae issue "crossing my fingers"!!! My previous setup was low tech and very beginner (no idea what i am going) tank. Hope the new setup will turn out well. Anyway, even though i am sad to see this tank goes, i am also excited to see how the discus tank going to be. Keep up all the good work and create more content!

Most are going to comment on how beautiful that tank is, which it is stunning. Others will comment about your personal need for growth, which is normal and we will all likely befits from that experience. I want to comment on how glad I am your plants will be going to a new aquarium. The point so many miss when they rescape or tear down is the impact to your systems inhabitants. Thank you for showing respect to the animals and plants you brought into your home to mimic nature, and taking the time to rehome them. Your platform and reach also makes you an example others follow, and doing so only encourages respect for the creatures many simply treat as art rather than life.

The tank looks beautiful right now. I think this version is my favorite. I will be sad to see it go for sure. Finding your channel sent my down the planted tank black hole. I also enjoy M & M discus tanks. Do what makes you, Emma, and the family happy. If you're happy with it, we'll be happy too. I look forward to seeing what scape you come up with. Look at it this way, it's the perfect time to deconstruct the scape now, because you will always remember it as it was at this point. And it is, in my opinion, the most beautiful scape you have created thus far. Also, looking at this tank I see your personal style growing and maturing over the years: bold hardscape, large foreground plants, lots of crypt :) It's a typical GF tank! Nothing is static. Good luck and have fun with your new project. K.O.S.

i would really like to see a video on the taking down of a high energy planted tank! i imagine it is quite difficult netting out all the tiny shrimps and fish when the water is totally clouded from the aquasoil! 😳 i mean, i can only assume it is necessary to remove all plants and hardscape before removing all livestock as they can easily hide among these things also for the discus tank, maybe a shoal of solid color except for one odd colored fish? i once had a large school of white cloud mountain minnows with 2 albino ones (which look yellow) and the contrast really gave the tank a certain feel. keep on scaping George! It's been a great series to watch. It lead me to reach out and ask you to come and aquascape my tank, almost a year to the day! Obviously won't take any credit for you changing set up to a hooded tank... Or a discus tank 😁 Can't wait to watch the next series and pinch some ideas. We are still thoroughly enjoying your aquascape, the discus seem to enjoy it. Carpering grass is fine with discus, just a regular syphon does the job. Take care mate.
