Albalawi1991, You sound---or are trying to sound---like a nice person... unfortunately, a nice person who knows nothing about history, or truth. 1st of all, all those Jews who "lived in peace" for centuries in Arab countries, were 2nd-class citizens. No Muslim regime ever gave other religions full rights, to this day. The Jews simply had it somewhat better there, at the time, than they did in Christian Europe. Big deal. 2nd of all, knowing just a bit of REAL history---not the made-up stuff they force-feed you at the madrassa---would make clear that the Jews have an extremely legitimate claim to Israel. And the Palestinians---who were NEVER a distinct people åpart from the other Arab states in the region---were nevertheless given a homeland in the original Palestine, a homeland which is now known as Jordan.
@MusculaRMinD10 жыл бұрын
bobster0 you make it seem like Arabs and Muslims and Christians in "Israel" are treated as equals to Jewish Israelis!!! do you really DARE to make that assumption??? Please have the balls to admit the truth :) Yes, when we rule a land, anyone who doesn't know his God will...will not be equal to those who do. This land we live in is God's, and it's He who set the rules: "you obey me, you become my favorites. But this doesn't mean you wrong those who don't know me." Trust me, you'd love to be a 'dhimmi' in the folds of Islam. It's better than being an immigrant (of visible minority) in any Western country!!! I am one and I know how racist people in the West are, toward those of color or visible religious observation (beard, turban, scarf, etc). So your Secular West isn't any better :) Somewhat better??? To compare the Jewish situation in Muslim lands to what it was in Europe with 'somewhat better' is a shameless audacity!!! Would you believe that the #1 Muslim in the world (Muhammad) had pawned his own shield to his Jewish neighbor, and passed away while it was still at the Jewish neighbor's house??? Tell me what European king had so little and found himself pawning his own war shield to a person from an opposing religious community!!! As for the REAL history you fool think you can twist, your own 'pig farms' (Jewish religious schools) don't teach you that God's promise was to ABRAHAM..WITHOUT EXCLUDING EITHER ONE OF HIS TWO SONS!!!! AND US ARABS ARE FROM ISHMAEL, AND GOD'S PROMISE TO ABRAHAM INCLUDED ISHMAEL'S PROGENY, AND IT WAS ACTUALIZED IN US!!! GOD SAID ABRAHAM'S SEEDS WILL BE LIKE THE STARS, NO? LOOK AROUND...WHO'S 400 MILLIONS TODAY AND WHO'S LESS THAN 5 MILLIONS (more than 70% of the ever-decreasing number of World's Jewry..are non-Semitic Khazar converts, so they can't be included among Abraham's descendants!!). So YES, it's you FOOL who's religious schools overlooked telling him what was so obvious in God's promise: it was not strictly to Isaac's children! :) Original Palestine is Jordan??? LOOOOL We all know that Jordan was part of Palestine, for many centuries, and that's even mentioned by Ibn Battutah in his visit to al-Karak!!! And the British Mandate over Palestine reaffirmed this fact! Check the map of that mandate, you clown! :)

Arabic sounds more beautiful because the Arabs still pronounce all semitic sounds, mostly gutturals. I assure you they are there in Hebrew but because of the Ashkenazi (European) influence on modern Hebrew they are often not pronounced. When you hear an elderly Jew from Iraq speak Hebrew it's a real delight and every bit as nice as Arabic.

I want from everyone here a thing that show how many are porn stars from every religion. From every religion, there are people from all kinds. Every human makes some mistakes, some more, some few. In some way its doesn't even related to religion. A Jew can be a singer, an actor, a teacher, and more just like people from other religions. Why to ignore another things that Jews invented and you using and they are good? Want to prove a fact about the past? Build a time machine. So someone said it... so? How can someone say what Jews want when I believe they not even related to Jews ? :/ Im a Jew myself, but i still respect another religions. If you know some people will get hurt from what you say, you better not say it. I believe in the holy cake, and you believe in cupcakes. MAN MORE CUPCAKES ARE PORN STARS!! Does it even matter? :/ Even a porn star is a human :P You can say its not the same, but that's because we all made religion more complicated.

so... are you about 8 years old? Can you read yet? If yes, look up any war between Israel and its neighbors. Do the math. Who outnumbered whose several times, who kicked whose @$$. Then read up on the history, by anyone reputable, and note that there was NEVER a Palestinian Arab nation. Never. Then stop typing and go away from your computer. And try learning to speak & write normally, expressing coherent thoughts, in complete sentences. Maybe someday you'll have something intelligent to add to a discussion... tho, honestly, it's not likely.

Hi girls! Thanks for your videos. I started learning Hebrew and Arabic at the same time very recently and your videos help me to figure out the similarities and differences between these two languages. My family name is Hebrew but it is the same word in literary Arabic; and means "spirit". I come from a Jewish/French family, and I have many friends from all around the world, including Morocco and Algeria. In Europe where I live, nobody ever trust me when I say I am French. They always add, "from where?". I even used to be called "the fake French". Well, today, after 30 years, I am extremely proud of my Jewish origins. I will never hide that anymore, and today I even want to become a Hebrew speaker. I feel good being myself and I wish to all the people to never deny who they are, and learn more tolerance. Peace to everyone.

+Sim that's funny because its actually supposed to be said with an Arabic accent because Jews were all Arabs until they were expelled from Israel by the Romans or somebody forgot. Expelled from Israel not just to Europe mind your small mindednesss, but to its neighboring countries and to Spain and to Morocco. What youre hearing is Europeans' take on Hebrew. She is pronouncing it without the Arabic accent but every Jew Arab pronounces Hebrew like Arabic, and theyre actually more the same than she put on... she forgot EVERY FUCKING ROOT! ITS ACTUALLY THE SAME THING. EXCEPT ARABIC IS MORE CORRECT FOR CORRECT HEBREW BECAUSE ITS CORRECT AND ALLIGNED AND ORIOENTED AND INSULAR TO THE REGION! ITS REGIONAL AND ITS RIGHT! THHERE MIGHT BE SLIGHT DIFFERENCES LIKE ANEE AND ANA BUT STILL THERE IS SUPPOSED TO BE AN ACCENT THAT IS ARABIC BECAUSE IN ISRAEL THERE IS AN ARAVA ETC. I MEAN ARABIC IS VERY BIBLICAL... AND MODERN HEBREW IS REINVENTED AND NOT TRADITIONAL LIKE ARABIC. Not quite true brother. Marhaba is an ancient form of greeting used even by early age Muslims. Historically, it is the one who receives someone (host), would say Marhaba.... which really means "you're welcomed"... then the guest would say Alsalamu alaikum, or just salam. There's nothing less Arabic in Marhaba nor is it self-defeating. Thus, the Bedouin tribes used to gather in areas called marahib. As a humorous example مراحب بني عبس مرحبا يا اخا العرب مرحبا يا خير داع So it's cool to use both as Salam (peace) isn't just Islamic as both Jews and Christians use it. A careful ear will distinguish Shalom alekhim from Alsalam alaikum, and Alsalamu lakum, with the latter being the greeting of Arab Christians.
@AhsanHaji9 жыл бұрын
Saif Jamal Asalamualykum Akhi Saif. I will let this quotation from Islamqa do the answering. I hope this is much more effective than my own choice of words. Ibn al-Qayyim said in Badaa’i' al-Fawaa’id (144): “Allaah, the Sovereign, the Most Holy, the Peace, prescribed that the greeting among the people of Islam should be ‘al-salaamu ‘alaykum’, which is better than all the greetings of other nations which include impossible ideas or lies, such as saying, ‘May you live for a thousand years,’ or things that are not accurate, such as ‘An’im sabaahan (Good morning),’ or actions that are not right, such as prostrating in greeting. Thus the greeting of salaam is better than all of these, because it has the meaning of safety which is life, without which nothing else can be achieved. So this takes precedence over all other aims or objectives"

+reza khan Farisi is another root, so it is not semitic! Hebrew and Arabic have a similar roots. An Arab (like me) might be able to read farisi (because they have almost similar calligraphy). Some words are similar to arabic due to the influence and the contact (so some words were borrowed between the two languages). Arabic seems with less fraction to the one who said Farisi is nicer (there is no language nicer or softer, it is amatter of familiarising your ears to it).

The dialect used in Israel today called "Hebrew" is a modern twist of languages. In fact, in all the ancient text found, artifacts, dictionary and glossary there is no mention of anything called "Hebrew language". Hebrew language is nothing more than Aramaic and Aramaic is another dialect of Arabic. Hebrew uses Aramaic squared alphabet and in the same order. Arabic pure stayed "Arabi" and Persian, Syrian Aramaic and Phoenician are all dialects of Arabic became known as "Ajami".
@lorialph10 жыл бұрын
Why do you have to belittle someone's language (which really is someone's culture) by dismissing it simply as a dialect of another language. Linguistically speaking we could say that French, Italian and Spanish are all dialects of Latin, but don't you think the definition of language VS dialect has got more to do with how the speakers of that language identify?
@josephbel10 жыл бұрын
Moroccan Darija derives mainly from Arabic, it is a dialect, the same goes for Lebanese dialect, Egyptian, Aramaic...Arabic classical is the language. You must understand that Aramaic never developed what we call " Al Nahw". Classical Arabic did. There is no belittling here!!! We are talking about the same people here, there are Arab Muslims, Arab Christians, Arab Jews, Druze...
@LudekFiala10 жыл бұрын
josephbel Hebrew is in no way a dialect of Aramaic nor Arabic. These are different languages that have developed from a hypothetical Proto-semitic language, therefore they share a large number of similar word roots and similar grammar conception, however they split MILLENIA ago. So saying that Hebrew is "nothing more than Aramaic, whis a dialect of Arabic" is just as ignorant as saying that English is a dialect of Sanskrit (ok, a little exaggeration here, but you get the point, right?) However, I like the idea that we should focus on what we have in common. And for your information: An-Nahw hasn't developed by itself, it took people to define it. And paradoxically it was not an Arab but a Persian guy Sibawayh who did the greatest job in his Al-Kitab fi an-Nahw in the 8th century CE. Hebrew at that time already existed very well recorded in it's ancient biblical form and the more modern Mishnaic form. There is a sharp dividing line between Hebrew and Aramaic usage in both versions of the Talmud. If the two languages had been merely dialects of one, they would have blended, which didnt happen. Do deeper research on semitic languages, its fascinating! :-)
@josephbel10 жыл бұрын
Do you know that the "Hebrew language" uses the EXACT Aramaic alphabet and in the same order with the same number of consonants?!!! Talk about the two dialects blending, Hello! They have the identical alphabet. It is called the Aramaic squared letters. Check in Jewish Encyclopedias that the Torah was originally written in "Hebrew" and was translated to Aramaic and the original Hebrew vanished, nice story created to respond to a lie of a language that never existed. There is no such thing as "Proto Semetic language" or Indo-European language, these are a made up terms. Phoenician, so called Aramaic, Arabic are nothing more than the same language with small variation here and there. Not strange at all, dialects spoken like Moroccan varies from North to South. You would not consider Jordanian dialect, Egyptian dialect, Moroccan dialect, Tunisian dialect... languages. The same goes for Phoenician, Babylonian, Sumerian, Aramaic Syrian, Farsi... all of these are dialects of the same language. Ishmael and Isaac spoke the language of Abraham their father, so did Israel or Jacob, he did not create a new language. Do you know who is Iran? What is the percentage of Arabic words in either "Hebrew Language" or Farsi? I said and please provide some ancient proof like text or something that indicate the presence of a "Hebrew language". There is no such thing in any text, glossary or ancient dictionary, any mention ever of a "Hebrew language". Once you know what the word Hebrew means, you will know that there was never any people, land, nation or language called "Hebrew". Sibawayh was himself a student of Arab teachers who taught him the grammar. He simply recorded what he learned. I don't know what you meant by "greatest" You ever wonder why Sibawayh had an Arabic name? The Arabic Nahw was put long before him. So if Hebrew language was well established, please name some Hebrew language authors and some Hebrew language text writings. Why do the Jews say that Hebrew was dead for 2000 years and
