I was very highly considering buying one of these. For me it has come down to the Arc Aileron 2, the Boosted Mini X, the Metro-Board Micro Slim (29 inch deck), the DIYeboard dual belt kit, the Riptide R1, and the Meepo V2P 30 inch with kicktail. Price wise; the first 3 are $1000-$1200 - which is A LOT for a shortboard, but you're getting amazing quality. The next 3 are anywhere from $400-$600. Definitely not an easy choice!

Though I think giving it a good kickpush before throttling will solve the low end torque issue. But I guess you guys have to remain consistent in the testing methods across your reviews.

Have you tried accelerating after a kick push? I think it is meant to be kick started, since it's only powered by a single motor. You might get much better range that way. I about the same range as you on my v1 aileron (Marketed at 18km/11 miles range) and I kick start the board and cruise at around 20-25km/h with a few hills.

On arc boards web site, V2 has 19 miles range. In your test, the board covered about 7 miles, how can you think this is perfect ? I really wanted to buy one but now, what should I do ?

Adam B I care about the speed, weight and portability. Banshee has all of it. I use it as a everyday commuter. You should see Boosted Board riders when i pass them. PS : Its the most stealthy looking board out there.

Black Phillip Well, I care about ride quality, and the Banshee has none of that. And I hate to tell you, but Boosted boards eat the Banshee alive in acceleration and hill climbing performance, so in most real-world scenarios, even the V2 models are considerably faster.
