i love how important is the lines of thinking and reasonings by vander and cait, albeit at diferent circunstances. vander knew the shit that happened when war happened, thats why he gave up because he knew shit would happen again, and thats why powder and vi became orphans. silco only understood that in the end, and still he only did that because of jinx, not because of the war consequences. now caitlin gets in the middle of it, acting almost like marcus, but moving on not by corrupcy, but by sheer anger. lets be honest, the topside made a mess, but the zaunites are asking for it too, lmao. if every character had the mentality of negociation like vander and Mel things would be easier, though
