Such a powerful song. My grandmother who didnt speak English had learned this song in Lebanon. She would sing the first verse as that's all she remembered. She was a strong, proud woman who had overcome many difficulties including a genocide at the hand of turks, the enemies of Christianity.

The rendition of this fine,stirring hymn is absolutely wonderful. I wish that I could find other traditional old, but much treasured hymns played and sung in such a stirring and inspiring way.May God bless the people who made “Onward Christian Soldiers” so powerful for us all.Anthony Green
