My mother was advised by her doctor for years to take calcium supplements, and 3 years ago she had a stroke. She was always healthy for an eighty years old, ate from home most of the time, lots of veggies and good proteins, plus she went to the gym twice a week. The stroke changed everything, and I always wondered why this happened to her! Now, I have a better understanding! I can't say for sure the calcium supplements caused it, but I do have my doubts.

Did your mothers or yourself take Magnesium, Vitamin D3, and Vitamin K2 every day as well? And enough iodised Seasalt against demineralisation? B Vitamins high dose because of malabsorption with age? Drink enough but not too much good drinking water? Stress? Pain or Anxiety? Social Connectedness? No high-oxalate diet? Pray regularly to the good shepherd? Did she listen to her doctor and take any medicine like against high blood pressure? Instead of fixing gut health!, diet balance, nervous system function and cardiovascular membrane elasticity. If you read this and are interested it can’t hurt to check out Sally K. Norton and her 2023 book ‚Toxic Superfoods‘ about some ‚modern‘ Food Recommendations are unhealthy and why! She explains Calcium Metabolism too, I fixed kidney stones in a few month with her diet *optimisation* no new stone forming after 4 years of *stones* 😊

Just think about things and you'll get there. For example: Eat fat, you get fat. We all know this is false. Insulin determines fat storage, not fat. Sugar impacts insulin far more than fat. Now, alkaline: just because you eat alkaline, does that make your body alkaline? And if so, what part of your body is alkaline? Stomach? Sm-Intestine? Lg-intestine? Saliva? Skin? Blood? Ingesting alkaline food doesn't mean you get alkaline. Your ph is determined by your body's homeostatic systems. Blood ph does not change (7.35-7.45) no matter what you eat, or else you'd die. It does affect urine ph, but urine is how your body maintains homeostasis: it excretes whatever you have excess of. This is the way it is supposed to work.

Rube, we cant have a nutrition discussion without vegans flooding us with mis-information. The vegan or Whole Food form of veganism has not been proven superior at all. When corrected for confounders, meat eaters do just as well. There is absolutely nothing harmful about a keto diet that is done properly. Check your facts.

Previous to this video, I saw a researcher from a medical university who said their research just came on a new discovery-that calcium carbonate in the “environment “ of their dish of cancer cells stopped cancer cells from growing. When they stopped the calcium cabonate, the cancer came back. Also a study on vertigo showed that balancing calcium carbonate with Vitamin D improved patients with vertigo by a huge percentage. Too much confusing information.

I'm 75. So what do I do for my bone density problems? Testosterone therapy? Been taking calcium citrate and vitamin d3 for about 12 years. I play tennis regularly and do exercises with kettle bells and dumbbells. I have osteopenia, iron deficient anemia, and Crohn's disease (in remission for 2.5 yrs due to Humira). They wanted me to take alendronate, but I refused, figuring that I don't want to slow the disposal of old bone, but rather speed up the production of new bone. Never had any sort of stones. I will try the flax oil and all the other stuff you mentioned. Thanks for your helpful videos. Thumbs up and subscribed. By the way, I get all my in person medical help from the Veterans Administration Healthcare system. Yes! Need acid to leach out the mineral matrix from the shell ! Put bits of cleaned shells (or grind into powder ) into soup & stews together with tablespoon or so of ACV and cook together ~ every day ~ excellent organic combo.

Apparently one of the side affects is " narrowing vessels" with calcium. We didn't know and found out after, after my husband had a stroke and has a narrowing vessel on the right side of his brain. We found out and he refuses it now but still has multiple mini strokes and surgery is too risky. First stroke was in 2021.

Calcium carbonate is in your drinking water, we humans have been consuming it for thousands of years. It's perfectly safe if you take calcium carbonate with magnesium or vitamin C. Vitamin C aids in the absorption of calcium(and iron) and is in calcium citrate.

Yep...as he mentioned in the video, plants are used to break down rocks which create a mineral for the plant to absorb it. Much of the calcium occurs in the rock-forming mineral called "plagioclase feldspar." Over the years, I've noticed whenever I put rocks underneath my plant pots, I water the plant and similarly the rock/stones provides a rich mineral that really grows the plant. We shouldn't be consuming the rocks or drinking water with calcium carbonate. Several epidemiological investigations have demonstrated the relation between risk for cardiovascular disease, growth retardation, reproductive failure, and other health problems and hardness of drinking water or its content of magnesium and calcium.Calcification is a very dangerous thing.

This is so educating. I so didn't realise that you need vitamin D with calcium and then you need vitamin F to aid vitamin D. I will be looking to get my calcium from Sea Kelp or Coral Calcium. Except with Coral Calcium it's a case of which is the better of Fossilised or Non. Shan't ever get the carbonate form that's for sure.

Dear Dr. Berg, thank you for all of your super videos! I am now starting the keto diet and I love love love spinach, and was very happy to see how high it is in potassium, magnesium and calcium. However, I found out that spinach and lots of other green veg contains oxalate which binds to the calcium so not only stops you from absorbing the calcium, but can also form kidney stones. Please advise.... thank u!

Thank you Dr. Berg for your effort. I agree about calcium. Since i was 3 years old, doctors started to told that my bones are weak and that i should eating more calcium supplements. Now i am 33 year old. And they stil are saying the same, but I do not see abu result of it. So few years ago i was enough of these calcium using advices and i decided to use a hair expamle test (i sent example of my hairs to laboratory for micro and macro element test). After few weeks i received a results of test - it was amazing, the calcium in my body are 150% calcium more that human need, so I told that my doctor but he said that is not possible. At that point i deciced to go for natural nutritions and search by myself how to balance process in my body to be more healthy. And one of very good information source in this process are your videos dr. Berg

The only way to make your bones strong is through load bearing exercise. Obviously if you have weak bones start very slow, but this is how you build strong bones. The body navigates more calcium to the bones when they are under stress.

Questions: 1- What chemical content is there in medications against cardiac arrest and other heart diseases? Why some patients msut take regularly? - Is heart arrest the same as infarct, or heart attack? - Do the doctorfs know there is not only cholesterol, but also calcium; in the plaque in the veins and arteria? - Do they know that consuming calcium without vitmaines F; cause creates plaque? 2 - What is the function of the vitamine K2 (if it is the vitamine F the one which takes the calcium plaque and moves it to the bones)? Is it magnesium with vitamine K2 which takes calcium plaque from teeth, heart, veins,. brain; and moves it to the scelet? Or, is it vitmanie F? 3 - It seems that it is all these three vitmaines together D, K2, F and magnesium; which help move calcium plaque to the scelet. Is it correct?

ok so in Sept of 2014 i had appendix rupture while 26wks pregnant. Thank God all went ok after being very throughout the rest of the pregnancy. Docs did ultrasound and cat scan (the one where they inject iodine? it feels like a warm flush. then was put in to a big tube)... well my point is that they did a full check because i was in horrible pain and only noticed my appendix swollen, but because of my pregnancy my appendix was behind my right rib cage. close to my liver. at first they actually thought my liver was the problem because it seemed swollen 😳 that would be worse... anyhow the point is they checked well. Got the surgery done and then had my baby on December 3rd. natural🙏🙌. then on mid 2015 i had another 2 ultrasound where i had surgery because i would have pain there. TURNS OUT they found gallstones! now how did it happen so fast! like 6months after😳. ever since i have to watch what i eat or it will hurt. if i eat super healthy it doesn't hurt. i did have like 5 to 6 antibiotics in a 3mo period(because of constant UTIs that was getting worser every time after surgery. before i would only get once a year). I always had my expensive maternity multivitamin. i did go through some stress during tht time... so idk what caused to build gallstones that fast. i mean that area of the gallbladder was cheked a good 3 times with ultrasounds and 1 scan on Sept 2014... do you have an idea what happened?
