The head wobbling differs from state to state. Even from district to district. My husband's home is located in another district of Kerala. Which is 60km away. When they see some familiar person or say bye they used to wobble the head like- chin comes to the chest. We have 3 major diety Brahma vishnu and mahesh and all others are part of them like Shri ram and shri krishna are avatar of vishnu etc. If you have noticed that we worship nature as a devta like surya dev agni dev etc. Yes you are right hinduism was not even religion before kalyuga. Actually if you go deep you will find that everything is very scientific for eg that 9 avataar of vishnu represents darwin theory of human evolution. Rishis were scientists and doctors of that time. They were very developed. Hinduism promotes moksha. There are many types.
