They wear sandals without khufs you wear kufain and sandals. And that the messenger would not allow the muslim men to pray in pants alone without izar.

I really really dislike this personally and wondering if it tashabuh... I pray more muslims dress like you brothers. How about things like using wine glasses or champagne style glasses and doing those non alcoholic "toasts" at weddings. Buying dealcoholized wine and beer. I can think of many non religious things that non muslims do that we copy. High fives? Fist pumps? I believe it's because we are a distinguished nation and this is the legislation of Allah and his messenger and as Allah says we should obey and follow the messenger and I'll are also says take what the messenger gives you and stay away from what he has forbidden you. So how can we need any other celebration the others are following how will we be different to them how can we be followers when a lot also says that he has sent down Islam the way of our religion that it's supposed to be above all other ways and all other religions if Allah has legislated to eats fast and it's only too fast what he's what the prophet aggregated that which came before then it also includes that which will come after because the prophet knows that other celebrations will cover after so therefore he wouldn't need to say and that which comes after is that is abrogated and this is what you have and that is that so we should be happy with what we have and it's a matter of it's not a matter of can we celebrate this or why what's wrong with you know birthdays and and New Year's and like the Shiekh said everyday you should take yourself to account and every day to be a resolution for you, to prepare for death(your Akhirah). it's a struggle with your self with your soul, and we don't need to celebrate birthdays. Birthdays is a Pagan tradition and also if you look at it logically why would we need to celebrate a birthday in fact we should be thinking what have I achieved that year what is there for you to be happy about how will you know that you're going to enter the fire or Jannah, you know you don't know so what is there to celebrate and if the Prophet alayhi salaatu wa salaam didn't celebrate it why must we celebrate it just because others are celebrating it just because it's fun. We can do other things that are fun we dont need to celebrate a birthday if the Prophets and Messengers didn't celebrate birthdays and didn't integrate with the celebrations there nations had and they said as the shiekh quoting the Ayah they said that we are free from you and that which you worship i.e free from you means everything that is with you(every thing about them such as celebrations)and that which you worship which is their disbelieve and shirk so if they didn't integrate with their people their own fathers and families and people turning away from them then who are we(who have the complete Deen) to say we're gonna turn away from the way and Sunnah of this Deen, and Allâh's Book. This believe that we can have one foot in another out, and an out that has no logic such as anniversary. Valentines. New year, Halloween etc it's not legislated by their religion like Christmas have become attributed to them they have actually invented this celebration to their religion so it's an act of innovation and you know you don't see the Pope and other Christians or other kufar in choosing to celebrate or do acts of bid'ah some Muslims have put in to the Deen, it's not part of Islam but they attributed that to Islam and so you'll never see kufar liking it and celebrating them innovations. They stick to theirs and we are more expected to stick and remain and be upon ours(to you be your religion and to me be mine). These celebrations are easy to turn away from. No one will have a gun at you for not following. I don't miss them Alhamdullillah. As the salaf use to say, every millisecond that goes part if you has gone with it. And as Rasullullah alayhi salatu wa salam thought us that we would laugh a little and cry more if we knew what he knows i.e of Naar and the like. I think the more celebrations each year there is nothing exciting, the less you have a lot to anticipate of joy. Not only that, the joy of finishing Ramadan well(with hope of acceptance) then celebrating it, THAT has a better meaning to celebrate so as Eid and Adha. Or a person finishing the Qur'aan. Imagine, 114 chapters of the Qur'aan and much Ahadith, are we fulfilling them? Do we know where we are destined for, will we die happy or not? Imagine celebrating all your live your birth and then end up in the Fire, or die as a kafir. You'll wish you never was born. So much to say. To end, you'll never see the kufar imitating us or following our Deen or even the innovations attributed to our Deen. We must be dignified, we weren't created to be followers.

Alhamdulillah. I am benefiting from these podcasts but there are some important issues which I feel are missed out in this podcast which are as follows: 1.Evidence to say that all celebrations are religious even though there are celebrations without any religious elements and people don’t intend to come closer to Allah by those celebrations . Example : national day , Mother’s Day , birthday etc 2: Is there any difference of opinion Among the Ulema about the Hadith that speaks about 2 Eids for Muslims is for communal celebrations not individual celebrations like birthdays etc. 3.Evidence to say that even if we don’t intend to imitate still it will count as imitation. Because I heard from Yasir qadhi’s lecture that there is difference between Tashabbu and tashaaabu. 4. If the origin of something is paganistic but now it is completely secular . Still it is haram to do that? Do we have to base our rulings on the origin or how it is perceived currently. It will be of great benifit in sha Allah if you can address these issues because these are the main points in Yasir qadhi’s lecture.

A good example. Gangsters in America generally pull their pants down to their bottom. This is specific to them where only they do that.

Asalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu. I am from Australia, and many shuyukh have given an ijazah to take the student loan here, even though it is definitely not halal. It’s called the HECS-Help loan, advertised as “interest-free” but indexed. I need a fatwa which mentions the situation in Australia. Most students, even the most religious, take this loan. People simply don’t believe my position on the matter, and they stick to their shuyukh (and they’re even respected ones too). Help please

السلام عليكم جزاكم الله خير I feel like at 1:28 the question wasn't answer can the shaikh explain more What shaid said about how before pants became worn by muslims they were worn by non muslims only. then a Muslim followed by many more started copying them and now it's the norm.. so that orginal person who copied them is sinful but current muslims are not ?! I am confused are we saying the ourf عرف changes and so once it does we are okay and that's why wearing pants most of okay because now its not only attributed to non muslims

He explained, he said that yes it was a wrong sunnah back then people might have been imitating the kufar(that is if we assume that they came with it ETC), but since it’s not exclusive to them anymore, it’s no longer a problem.

Why are all of your comments so overly critical? It seems as if you are missing the point of the video and nit picking unnecessary points. Maybe spend your time learning the Deen, instead of critisicing those who are learned while you're sitting in your bed typing away. I won't even bother replying to anything you respond with since I can sense your ego will be triggered. So take this advice on the chin, and may Allah forgive all of our shortcomings.

@@SimulatorWhiz why would I need to reiterate the things he says which are correct? There is literally no point in doing so. No one is above criticism. If other people are like you and consider this to be the calibre in which you can start calling someone learned, there's a lot more to worry about.

lol this Ustaadh is an absolute jaahil when it comes to linguistics. His answer when asked about slang is complete nonsense. Consider this: -Languages constantly evolve -The way he pronounces his own Arabic would be laughed at and seen as lowly (as would almost everyone else's today) if heard by the Arabs of the time of the Prophet PBUH. -"Slang" is a type of language consisting of words and phrases that are regarded as very informal, are more common in speech than writing, and are typically restricted to a particular context or group of people. This always develops everywhere and is the mechanism in which different languages evolved from each other. -He mentions that people throw their slang out of the window when going for a job interview, as if somehow what other pepole think of slang is a daleel. -He says "standard" language when there is literally no standard for English, the slang of which he was discussing. -He is using his own prejudices against slang to justify his opinion on it. -Most slang speakers are not criminals
@AB-xx7hy3 жыл бұрын
He was talking about UK slang which is filled with criminal language like calling drugs food and alcohol juice and the rest. He specifically said don't speak like the criminals. I don't think he's telling people to speak like the Queen lol just don't go overboard in criminal slang Not sure if you're from the UK or not but you'd understand better if you hear how some 'roadmen' speak
@NK-vd8xi3 жыл бұрын
@@AB-xx7hy I'm from London. Grew up by Mozart Estate. Google what that is if you want to get an understanding of it. If you think I talk the way I'm typing you'd be dead wrong. We don't speak the Queen's English. I type the way I do because it's the most effective way to be understood by the most people, not because it's some misguided understanding of "better". He didn't say specifically "don't speak like the criminals". Had he said that I would have no issue. He said you shouldn't speak slang *because* it is that of the criminals, which is an utterly ignorant point. Even the examples you stated, if that becomes common parlance, there literally cannot be an issue with it, because that is fundamentally how words change. Even the Arabs of the time of the Prophet (on whom be peace) were aware of differing utilisation of language, and the many words with many meanings. If you understand linguistics you'd realise they all came started off as slang of something else.
@AB-xx7hy3 жыл бұрын
@@NK-vd8xi ok. I still think you're misunderstand his statements it's pretty clear he's talking about speaking like a criminal. Him and many of his students are from London as well and they all do have somewhat of slang in their vocab but he's not against that just how roadmen speak.

What? Al-Bukhaari (5921) and Muslim (2120) narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allaah (blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) forbade qaza’. Naafi’ (one of the narrators of the hadeeth) said, explaining qaza’: Shaving part of a boy’s head and leaving part. Al-Nasaa’i (5048) and Abu Dawood (4195) narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) saw a boy part of whose head had been shaved and part of it left. He told them not to do that and said: “Shave all of it or leave all of it.” Al-Albaani classed it as saheeh in Saheeh al-Nasaa’i.
