People are not leaving just because of the bad conditions in Pakistan, people are leaving because of injustices in Pakistan. You can stay in a place where there are challenges that you can overcome with your hard work and consistency but the problem is in Pakistan you are faced with injustice, so whatever you do you are still in a place where anything can happen to you despite the fact that you have done almost everything to stop it. Injustice is the key to destruction of a society. There's a quote attributed to Churchill, when there were talks of collapse of the UK during WW2 he asked one thing, if our quotes are providing justice to the people, if the answer is yes then we will survive this. Injustice is such a devastating force that makes you despair in the face of a challenge

And you know what's wrong with this model? Now the bills are so high, cost of living is so high that basically people are asking for loans from relatives. I would say the Govt is legally robbing the citizens, and I'm one of them. They take loans with Interest from IMF and then take more loans to give the previous loan back, I mean you can see where this is heading.

20:50 I disagree with your point here. Pre PTI era, people were migrating for lack of opportunities in Pakistan. Post PTI aka current era, most of people moving abroad were actively participating in the economy like highly skilled doctors, engineers, businessmen, media persons, freelancers etc. They have the opportunities and the resources to remain in the country but they chose not to. And they are not only moving out but actually moving their business, some generating income in dollars. Point is that It is a whole different kind of migration.

Sir, you changed my perspective on Overseas Pakistanis. Even though I never cursed or teased them, I always quoted "Paywasta Reh shajar se Umeed e Bahar Rakh". This video taught me that you can graft yourself onto a different plant, and it won't change your origin. It taught me that connection is possible without clinging to the diseased part, you can be the cure. The reference to Iqbal and Islam was beneficial in connecting the dots. Thank you for keeping us sane!
@ShahzaibKhan-oc3ui3 ай бұрын
The government has yet to fully grasp the catastrophic impact of the ongoing brain drain among doctors in Pakistan. This mass exodus is leading the country toward a healthcare collapse. As a medical graduate, I can personally attest to the dismal health policies in place, where physicians are severely underpaid for the overwhelming workload they endure. Not too long ago, only around 50-60 graduates out of a batch of 350 at my university (King Edward), would consider leaving the country to practice abroad. However, in recent years, that number has skyrocketed to 180-200. Pakistan's healthcare system is in a rapid decline, and if this trend continues, the consequences could be dire.
@PakistanSimplified3 ай бұрын
As an overseas Pakistani, I found your analysis in this video really interesting. It’s tough to leave Pakistan, but the current conditions have made it increasingly unviable to stay. There’s a significant discrepancy between the lives of overseas Pakistanis and those living back home, which inevitably leads to conflicting opinions on policies and politics. It’s truly sad to see so many educated Pakistanis leaving due to the state of affairs. I hope we can find a way to bridge these gaps and work towards a better future for our homeland!

There are a lot smarter people who are already holding onto the limited job opportunities in Pakistan so there is no brain drain. And I have sent over USD 200k to Pakistan in the past 10 years and plan to invest another USD 200k-300k in the next 4 years. I don't think I could have done more for Pakistan by living in Pakistan. Purpose was Learning and understanding, not in search of job. 3.In history people move it's normal! 😮, That was moving based on too much crises and main thing is that they move with tribe, family,...not a single person.

The problem is in our mentality you said 1 can teach 10 others but how many of us actually want to teach. There is a term called professional jealousy and this starts right in childhood when your parents expect to be number one. Here nobody is willing to give his/her position in any field. Whether you're on the high post or low you can't see anyone at your level. Most of the overseas Pakistanis feel a burden when one of his family members comes abroad. So i think it's difficult to train someone everyone is selfish here sadly.
@faizankhan-wk8ht2 ай бұрын
The only reason educated and professional people are staying in Pakistan is because of their old parents for whom they worry and love and that's/ should be the very important reason. Otherwise more than 50% of population would have/ had left. And Pakistan was like this for the past 50 years, nothing has changed since then, as we moved out of Pakistan we then do the comparison and conclude the situation is very bad in Pakistan, its not bad it was consistently bad since the past 50 years. So people who are still in Pakistan or staying in Pakistan wont notice that much against the people living now living abroad.

@omargarcia58633 ай бұрын
Wah, wah, kis sawal kia hay? To solve ANY problem, FIRST nation as a whole, need to accept it as a problem and then ACT on it. Sirf batain karnay see kuch nahin hoota. Biggest problem is, people in Pakistan don't consider "theft" is wrong or "lying" is wrong. Electricity theft, water theft, lying all day, make your house or "extend" your house on the piece of land which is not yours etc. (it is a very long list). But the Fundamental problem in Pakistan is that, people think it's "right". The reason they give "oh I do this because I am poor". It is totally other way around. People are poor because they commit daily "thefts, and frauds" of one or the other thing, with out even thinking that, it is wrong. Basically, the people have fallen from the lowest rank even, when our Prophet (PBUH) said "if you cannot stop or say any thing about something which is wrong, then at least consider it wrong in your heart". Pakistanis, by and large have fallen even below that level.
