Yet another great episode. I laugh so hard with you two. Thanks for the work you do to put these out. And thanks to behind the scenes Harry!

I’ve gotten behind on listening to your podcast, and now I’m sick and trying to catch up while I rest. You two had me cracking up in this episode! Before I had kids, my first dog was 100% my first child, and she had a wonderful sassy voice and attitude. Joel, I’m with you on animal cruelty-I cannot tolerate it! I remember chastising a kid at a petting zoo once for jerking a goat by the horn, all the while just waiting for their parent to come yell at me for getting after their kid. Thankfully, that didn’t happen!

I absolutely loved this video ❤. Just chatting and going off topic with a lot of laughs is nice. I'm with you, Joel. Huge animal person here.

To understand the joke at 17:45 about Keegan not "feeding a pony ever again" I had to look up "feed the pony" online in "A Dictionary of English Slang & Colloquialisms - An insight into the informal language of the UK" because I had never before heard that slang in America. Now, that I know what it means, hats off to Sarah for her sense of humor. 😆

The Fen and Ava voices were gold. A video of them having a conversation would go viral 🤣🤣💖💖🐾🐾🐾🐾

As I have said before, I could listen to you "waffle on" all day. What a bonus it would be to have you do it in Ava and Fen voice! I love how you crack each other up, and we're all right there with you. One last thing..I always had dogs growing up, in my adulthood, I also had cats, sometimes they overlapped and they were all wonderful in their own way. My last boy, Romeo, came to me via shelter. It took him a full year to trust us in the house, we felt he must have been tormented by the children in his former home. Once he trusted us, he was all in. He would sit on the back of the couch and he had to have his paw on one of us even when he napped. We miss him and all the other "babies" after all these years. I could waffle on about each of them, the time goes by so fast.

I feel like we missed a bit of Mark's story, but I just wanna say I'm so sorry for the loss of his mother but glad to hear that he atleast had his cat Abby to comfort him during that incredibly difficult time. My 2 cats are the only thing that kept me sane during the grieving process when I lost 2 very close family members earlier this year. I cannot imagine how much harder something like that would be without the love and comfort of our pets.

I love a good waffle and ribbing in and amongst an actual topic, so this was one of my fav episodes! 🥰 Plus I’m like you Joel, very “pro-animal”, so that helped too. 🙂 And I totally agree with you on the parental influence, because both of my parents are afraid of dogs, and so I was too growing up. But as you said “I got over it” 😂 and now I’ll never be without one, like I said in my video. 😊 Oh, and we need pics of “Emo Joel” stat … 😂

Enjoyed the quirkiness and humour of this episode boys. Absolutely adore animals here. just like Joel I always had a fascination with animals from being a youngster. Tend to avoid people who say ' I don't like animals' - a red flag for me. Loving the podcasts btw. Big hugs Stewart x

Laughed a lot on this episode, I think it's good to switch between serious topics and not so serious ones every now and then. Loved this and all the past episodes I've watched so far. I am both a dog and a cat person. Currently share my flat with my beautiful cat Lili. Cheers from Buenos Aires, Argentina

(oops)current one. I was not taught this as a kid. My dad thought of all animals as livestock. I love watching you two; and yes even this episode. Love from Indiana USA.

Ok Joel I added Clarkson Farm to my amazon list. When you toured Emmerdale, it ended with me getting hooked on it. I have 1 cat and 4-8 strays I feed every day as a tithe. When I was in a LTR we still had a cat or two, or three...

Monsieur Bogart (aka Bogart) and Humphrey were my pet companions 🐈🐈⬛ for 19 years each. I got Bogart when he was just weened from his mother. Humphrey came into my life about four years later. Bogart accompanied me almost everywhere. He was so small I could carry him in my jacket pockets. If I was in my car, Bogart was with me nine out of ten times. He had a harness and a leash and he would come to me when I called his name…except if there was a bird in sight. All his life I believe he wanted to capture a bird. He would perch himself on the sofa and watch the birds and go into stalker mode whenever one would land on the balcony. He was such an easy, fun, loving, adorable, huggable and hugging cat. Humphrey was a cat of a different temperament. He would let me hug and pet him for about five maybe ten minutes, after which he would swat my hand and then go about his day. That was all the human affection he needed for an entire day. He was so much a cat - possessive and detached at his whim. I never had any kind of pet growing up. I got my cats when I was a full adult living on my own. Surprisingly, my parents who didn’t like dogs or cats tolerated and then grew to like my cats when I would bring them with me for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. My mother realized their importance to me and she started asking me about them on our calls and she would send them treats and buy Christmas toys for them every year. Humphrey & Bogart were my stalwart companions who thought I was the cat’s meow everyday. They gave me grace and affection daily as their human caretaker. I loved them to the moon and back. ❤❤❤🐈🐈⬛❤️❤️❤️🌈

Another entertaining episode of hilarious waffling - loved it!🧇 In the latter part of this episode, I thought Keegan and Joel were slipping into a bit from "Are You Being Served?" with Mr. Humphries and Mrs. Slocombe chatting about Mark's pussy. 🙀🤣

Hey guys the episode on Apple Podcasts has 4 minutes of pure silence at the beginning. I started it, forgot about it and got Jumpscared like crazy 🤣 Besides that it’s a fun one, wish i had the time to properly take care of a pet been wanting one for so long. Hoping i can in the near future 😊

Cats are an excellent lesson in consent. They can be incredibly loving creatures, but they have boundaries they are more than happy to enforce. You have to learn to read their body language.
