Don't forget they offer a 60-day no question asked satisfaction guarantee just in case you're worried about ordering the wrong combination. You can also get any type of combination between the different iron sets. If you have any questions just give them a call. If you want you can even talk to the owner Jason. Don't know of any other golf club manufacturer that you can call and talk to the CEO. He's more than happy and really knowledgeable about the golf club business and the fitting process.

Love the looks of that TAIII blade. Considered getting a set (from Honma Rose Proto) but instead recently went with a mint used set of Zx7s at hundreds less than the Sub 70s. I'm good now 👍

Jay Explained to you on Mondays live stream what DT4 Iron was Basically its a Low carbon low sulphur Iron which produces a soft Iron, definitely would use covers with these as I think they will be prone to chipping and wear IMO. I don't think DT4 has been used in any Irons before so will be interesting to see how they hold up.

Thanks for the comment, unfortunately time frames are commonly out of sync with videos. Due to the forgiveness side of my content often it can take quite a while of me testing etc before I grab enough data to be able to conclude on an iron. So I had done some filming but no where near all. 👍🏻 The DT4 is a lovely feeling steel and one if durability isn't a factor that many more blade designs could use in the future..... Hopefully 😊

DT4 has been around for a long time. There's all different types of combinations they mix it with also. I've had these irons and others and there is no denting or chipping issues than usual. I play a minimal of three times a week and usually five and I have almost no dings on my black TAIIIs
@martinsreef9413 Жыл бұрын
@@martinmichaelbrodeur3498 I never knew DT4 had been used in clubs before, but that's great to hear they hold up as good as any other Iron. I just ordered the Sub 70"s Wedges that also are DT4 so won't be that long to I get to feel the softness myself.

Are the t24 wedge reviews comin soon? In the market for new wedges
@AskGolfNut Жыл бұрын
All T24 reviews are late due to media samples being delayed. I'm hoping to get mine the week after next, then I'll do a quick review showing off all the new finishes, lofts and grinds with the thought on showing them on course in the future 👍🏻

I think I'd need to polish them up to proper chrome before that. Blades are as much about looks as feel. Feel it wins absolutely, one of the nicest irons I've ever tested. Looks wise it's a touch busy for me and not chrome, but looks are subjective and opinion only, as many would like it 🤷 solid solid option though for someone in the market 👍🏻

Still running the older MP20 blades as have such lovely memories of shots with them. It's the classic good player issues.... Trying to get something out of their hands when they have confidence with something is difficult 😊 anything new, even better has no good positive memories attached to it to draw on when playing.....

@@AskGolfNut dude, I’m still using the MP-20’s too! In my opinion the best looking iron Mizuno has ever made. I wish they made the new ones like the mp-20 with that all shiny chrome look to it. I’m going to use them until the grooves fall off 😂

I do like the look of them not sure who would try (difficult) let alone buy them. I know I'm not comparing like for like as you say but if I was in the market for new blades then it would be very difficult to look further than custom fitted Mizuno MP sorry Mizuno Pro irons (and buy on interest free instalments LOL)
@martinmichaelbrodeur3498 Жыл бұрын
These are not difficult to hit. They really are amazingly forgiving. I use them in my scoring irons and I was shocked with the forgiveness, height and distance they come with. Sub70 business philosophy has been putting out the highest quality on the market at near cost. Which is comparable to your mizunos but they do feel better than any Mizuno on the market. They also offer a 60-day no questions satisfaction on all their golf clubs.

Precision milled cavity area etc are awesome. Geezer like me probably couldn’t handle the less offset, less forgiving. Jay. One possible reason longer irons are an issue is that = SW’d longer irons are heavier MOIs.. 2-3 options.. soft step those shafts; Build to ascending SWs or go to 3/8” gapping. If can MOI the set at = SWs, you’ll usually find the 4,5 swing ‘heavier’ than the 6,7,8 etc. Given Jay sez shaft weight means little, there are unknown nuances that can cause inconsistent swings.

Personally I see traditional lofts at least at 34 if not 36°. Can’t see 32° as traditional. More like players distance. Interestingly though your chart shows graphite shaft info. It’s not clear to me though which are the graphite shafts on their website.
@AskGolfNut Жыл бұрын
I personally agree, it's just I shake my head at the trends over time. It's natural that they all change and they will as even before that 7 iron lofts were more than 36. So at one point the general concensus changes. Now that pure traditional lofts are now at 34 degrees yet others are set to as low as 26 degrees, I wonder how long will it be before 32 is the new 34, like 34 is the new 36 🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷 Thanks for the comment and for watching 👍🏻

You can get whatever loft or lie angle you need on any of their irons when you order. I have actually bent mine weaker because surprisingly they were near my players distance irons but were flying higher.

Definitely not the traditional blade look that's for sure, but I do quite like the introduction of tungsten weighting to the back end to encourage launch especially on the longer irons.... Its a design straight from Tommy Armour the 3rd. I agree personally it's a touch busy on the back for a blade but the rest of it is just lovely to look at and use 👍🏻
