I'm super glad they didnt include that tbh. It rubs me the wrong way to out your family member's trauma like that without their informed consent, and if you're trying to take care of someone with alzheimers or dementia, it's pretty common practice to keep them as happy as possible, even if that means lying. Explaining that you're not their childhood friend over and over while they're becoming distressed in their confusion when they'll just forget it again soon just isnt it worth it. I think that rule becomes double so that it's not really a good idea to make them relive the trauma of a sui attempt and then add on guilt that their child found them, yknow :/

the dementia video from your perspective i can understand as odd or something but i live with my grandparents and they are getting to that point, it actually helped give me a better idea of how to deal with those issues as they continue to come along. so it was weird af but dope for me lmao
@jimmyjams9622 жыл бұрын
This was funny but I think they're misunderstanding what empathy is. It's not about being able to relate, it's about being able to put yourself in those people's/animals' shoes _specifically when you can't relate_ and still understand and feel what they're going through. Regardless, this was still hilarious.

@@christomanci All of those subscription based therapy sites give you inconsistent shoddy care. I had two different appointments in a row that were cancelled 15 minutes prior, and one after that where the therapist just never showed up. At the time, it was devastating. The turnover is super high too, so when you are constantly cycling through new providers, you don’t really get anywhere. Especially when mental healthcare is so expensive, I see how people find the idea of these sites are so appealing, but in the end, it seems like just another way for people to make money off of you and your problems. When you are desperate for help, it’s absolutely heart wrenching to feel like your only lifeline doesn’t care about you either.

This is the best series. I learn so much about empathy watching these videos. You bring so much comedy to what is basically a lesson on empathy and it's incredible.

Aleena, the cat with tears in it's eyes isn't good. It means the cat has severe allergies or is sick/has an infection. That's not them crying, it's bad

@@Barbie25150 I do agree with that. Everyone has preferences too tbh. And the reason why I like Noel and crew is cause he also has that dark sense of humor.
