Another side note, as a natural bodybuilder I know some of what hes saying seems impossible. But your attitude is everything. EVERYTHING. I'm talking from experience. I'm talking about when I had stage 3 skin cancer, lost the love of my life, lost friends, my job, and dropped to 120 fucking lbs LESS THAN A YEAR AGO. Look where I am now... If I hadnt decided to take this leap and fix myself, where would I be? Still broken, afraid, weak, self conscience. Sure I was fucking scared to try and live again, of course! My world had fallen apart and I didnt want to see it happen again. But, I leaped. I said, you know what? No hater, no negativity, no NOTHING is going to stop me from doing what I set out to do and reach my goal. Folks, if you have a shitty, negative, attitude towards life, shitty and negative is what your going to get back...My opinion.

This sounds to me like if you aren't doing steroids you aren't doing whatever it takes. Which, if you want to be a pro bodybuilder is very true. I respect the honesty.
@thebuzzcjc10 жыл бұрын
In a nutshell, I agree with that. Those guys using insulin like that which I've only recently discovered scares the shit out of me, even more than the normal organ and hormonal side effects in the long term. That's what it takes to get on the top tier though.
@ManThatsANiceBanana10 жыл бұрын
"if u not take steroids, you're not doing whatever it takes" That's how people think
@benjamin21100010 жыл бұрын
There is more to it then just taking steroids, the work these guys put in is in another level they are will to sacrifice their bodies to be at the top. That's why they are elite cause they are willing to push where people are to scared to push!
@Mikolowpt10 жыл бұрын
Ben Barragan Of course there is more to it then gear. Most people that I see in the gym that take gear are some of the most lazy people when it comes to working out hard and diet. Rather then take advantage of gear they use it as a reason to be lazy. The few that do everything right plus push themselves hard. At my gym are either IFBB pros or look like they could compete in NPC. However facts are facts if you bust your ass just as hard and do everything right without gear you won't look like them.
@thegreat10096 жыл бұрын
Well steroids are an integral part and looking that big if you are not taking them you can eat 1000000 calories a day and lift 10 times harder it's not going to do much in terms of getting that big you have to understand that it's like a synergy one part cannot work without the other

YOU WILL KNOW WHEN YOU ARE OVERTRAINING. Trust me, you'll feel it. I've overtrained before. My body kind of shut down for a while. I got really sick, was always tired, weak... but it wasn't from training too much, it was because I would increase my training without increasing my nutrition and the amount of rest I was getting. As long as you change your eating and rest in order to properly cope with your training, you'll be fine.

you know this is what Rich didn't understand not everybody has the money to eat 10 to whatever meals a day steroids are just one part of it it's a combination of many things not just being on steroids when you are on steroids your work load goes through the roof you have to eat 10 meals a day you have to be in the gym 2 to 3 hours a day or you are just wasting your money and your time Rich did not understand this it's not about making excuses the economy does not afford people the opportunity to even be on steroids so they have to find another way you could get muscle gains just by eating 10 meals a day you don't even need to be on steroids just eat 8 to 10 meals a day and go to the gym for 2 to 3 hours a day and see just how huge you will get maximize your carb intake maximize your protein intake and you will see better results then being on steroids trust me

Hi Rich I am a huge fan and receive much value from your you tube videos, as I am an avid watcher. I also love and commend you for the positive message you are sending, one that transcends beyond bodybuilding itself. You are a master marketer and a true business mind. As a young entrepreneur/fitness enthusiast myself, I am a big advocate for what you stand for.. Thank for for being so open and honest regarding performance enhancers. Personally, while I have been tempted and my surroundings are infested with them, I do not and don't plan to take steroids, as I believe my genetics and work ethic make my goals of: woman stop breathing when I take off my shirt possible. Nonetheless, the information you are putting out is still extremely helpful. We often hear about tragic cases where a bodybuilder or wrestle dies suddenly of some terrible cause (heart attack, stroke, etc) and fingers tend to point back to steroids. Based on your videos and what I have researched, something does not add up. What were these people doing? Where they doing too much? Where they mixing the wrong things? Where they not going off cycle? Was their lifestyle not healthy enough? Where they just genetically fucked from the getgo? I think it would be very valuable if you could upload a video addressing this issue to help people do things in the safest way possible. Much love, A huge fan and fellow 5%er
