I am 51 and have been on The Path for about 8 years. It has been incredibly beautiful but also harrowing and extremely tiring. I'm at this point now (because it never stops evolving, you never stop "awakening") where my heart centre/chakra feels like it's completely cracked open. It verges on too much empathy, which is counter-intuitive (can there be too much??). I am moved to tears several times a day by just how beautiful everything (and everyone) is, even the most perceptively "terrible" of events or circumstances. Tears that well up from a very deep place. Everything is indeed perfect AND YET judging still takes place (in a way) as I feel a powerful resistence to entropy, on a Universal level, if that makes any sense at all. I'm new to your channel. Perhaps you've already made a video that discusses why awakening brings about an intense and palpable sense of (and reverence for) the sacred. Why do some feel "God" (Loving Awareness) within consciousness? Why do so many feel "called" or pulled toward what they might refer to as The Beloved? Is this an illusion or confusion created by the sense of Oneness that we feel? I was raised by an intellectual and philosophical atheist who loved Richard Dawkins. The discovery of these intense feelings of scared wonder within the stillness are beyond mystifying. To others, I have BECOME my awakening (and yet there is no me!). It can be extremely isolating and alienating on a societal level, ironically. My inner world is so rich and abundant. I wouldn't have it any other way and yet I am not sure I would wish it on anyone. It has been an intensely transformative, and at times painful, journey. Awakening can indeed empty you out. As Ram Dass used to ask, "is it too much... or is it just enough?" Sorry for the way-too-lengthy comment. Grateful to have found your channel. Keep up the great work and fantastic content. 😍

Yes the "Loving Awareness" you refer to that can be felt is your true nature. It is not being observed or felt by a separate you, you are that. The mind tries to define all this and put a label on it "It's awareness." "It's spirit", "It's God." The only things that can be known with certainty is that IS YOU and IT IS. Nothing else is necessary.

I have also been a lifelong atheist who was deeply affected by Richard Dawkins (The Selfish Gene). But I no longer see a contradiction between evolutionary biology and awakening. Are you familiar with Donald Hoffmann or Steven Pinker? If we view the brain and mind from an evolutionary perspective, we can see how they were shaped by necessity, to solve problems such as food acquisition and mating. But we're limited to a very small slice of (space-time) reality with our 5 senses, leaving an infinite amount of otherness (?) that we can only catch glimpses of. I can't explain it very well, sorry. But there are a handful of scientists and mathematicians who are doing interesting collaborations, trying to find that spot where science and spirituality meet (overlap?). Anyway, I understand the solitary nature of your journey, as it's mine too, and we are made of the same stuff. 🥰

You bet this mind is judging, putting everything into buckets of fear or not fear. Just like a constant background noise happening along with birds singing and wind. The judgments seem so real and personal. It takes practice to not take it personal. "See it but don't sieze it" - thanks so much for the pointings.

Sunya 🙏 After awakening, Oneself neither accepts nor rejects things being perceived and judge them instead just be aware of what is happening; Hence naturally Oneself will be not be judgemental on those things perceived which come and go, from One's awaken stand-point perspective. 😊🙏🙇‍♂️🌷

This is so helpful, thank you! I have no idea where I am in this unraveling but i have noticed that judgements still arise (being opinionated, with lots of mental activity justifying the judgement has been a feature of this personality), and I will start to verbalize them, but trail off mid-narrative, with the felt sense remembering that either this judgement is just a belief I acquired from someone in the past, or that of course that situation or person could be no different given past conditions. But I have never thought to look at the moment that engaging with the judging drops and to ask what is it that just said, "oh, yeah, never mind" and went silent? 🥰

Friend. I wrote a lengthy question on your webpage and after I clicked sent, I went doing my business when this video popped out with the exact answer I was looking for... Also the comments answered another question I would have asked on your group meeting and it was about crying because everything was so utterly perfect and beautiful... So here comes another question... How can everything be that much synchronistic? I know we are one, with the knowing... And that glimpse of knowing kills every aspect of the separate self. But in what extend does thing pops up like that out of synchronicity? Are every experiences the I AM have are made out of solipsism? 8 billions experiences with 8 billions "unique" points of view? I know that solipsism is about "my" reality being the only one real and I know it's not the case... But what if we mix up the fundamental Thruth of what we are and solipsism?

I'm sorry you're wrong about consciousness. We know that consciousness is a phenomenon of the brain because people have experienced drastic personality changes after head injuries.
