I have this issue, at first I thought it was due to poor posture, but then learned that it was due to how I hold my upper abdominals which are more pronounced than my lower abdominals.

The Title of this Thread reminds me of the Famous Negative Interaction + Resulting Photo at the 1980 Mr. Olympia. Where Arnold Jaded Mike Mentzer about his " Big Belly" at the 1979 Mr. Olympia that resulted in a Load for Mike. Many including me thought Mike Mentzer got Royally Robbed in 1979. He should have won the show- but, I digress. That Famous Photo, I refered to showed a Very Mad Mike Mentzer Pointing at a sitting + Meek Arnold. Good thing Arnold continued to sit there! Even Ken Waller stayed sitting. Should Mike have used heavy weights for abs too? Probably not at that time. I personally don't think Mike ever recovered Mentally from those 2 years when he was at his best.

the last time i had abs i was 159 pounds 20 years ago i ate very little bad carbs very little sugar dropped down from 200 pounds today im 239

I am a Pakistani and every one knows Arnold even if they aren't bodybuilders... he has become a phrase... *U won't become Arnold in a night* ... That's what we say to the new comers who joins the gym or want to become a bodybuilder... But RIC is doing a great job... bringing the knowledge and golden era history just like *Nick strength & power* KZbin channel. I just want to hear the cool stories that r related to Arnold and his friends. *But it's rude of Arnold to deny RIC's offer* ... it's his bad so he is surely going to regret it someday ... trust me

Maybe one day there might be a way to a spot reduce. Increase blood flow to the belly in some way? I think it’s possible but no one knows how . Nature has a complex way of doing it but no one understands it .

when it comes to abs, it is all genetics and body fat placement. arnold had shitty abs as the top guy in the world in his time. compare him to mike the situation sorentino whose abs are amazing and he is a common gym guy (even if juicing). huge difference.
