Hey friends! A quick not from our home here in Canada. We're currently filming a video about our life in Canada right now under self-isolation. That will be out sometime early next week. For now we're continuing our Argentina series from 2019. We hope everyone watching this is safe and healthy at home.

Audrey your dad is a great put master. Love his knowledge of meat. My mom was butcher, she taught her craft throughout the US. I firmly believe that meat needs no accompaniment. Who needs salads or fruit with choice cuts of meat.
@samuelandaudrey4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Rebecca! That is a good point. I think the mistake is to fill-up before you get to the meat and then you enjoy it less.

@@samuelandaudrey Just fine, thanks. Not buying the hype. Out and about, plenty of vitamin D. I'll exercise common courtesy, which is not intruding on the space of others. But a good imune system is the best defense against any airborne virus, so I feel the risk of contracting something with a 98%recovery rate is less than the risk I weathered in Saipan in 1944.

Just wondering: why do you salt the meat long before you put it on the grill/barbarque. In my opinion it is getting dry because salt takes out the juicyness. Blood sausage: once you come back to Germany you should try "Grützwurst" - will not be offered in lots of restaurants but you can get from butcher's shop and warm it up in your AirBnB using simmering water. It is regurally eaten with fresh bread / 'Brötchen'.

Thanks for sharing that tip Gerd! We really miss Germany.

Since you are already in Mendoza consider a trip to the following place: Aconcagua is a mountain in the Principal Cordillera of the Andes mountain range, in Mendoza Province, Argentina. It is the highest mountain in the American continent and the highest outside of Asia, being the highest in both the Southern and Western Hemispheres with a summit elevation of 6,960.8 metres
