I adored it and I'm not even into new age things and most of the stuff the podcasts were about, e.g. magick. It just felt so rich and generous and inventive and completely unlike anything else you could ever see. Trussel's personality as the dimension-hopping protagonist was brilliant, the animation was stunning and the music was just the right combination of weird and lovely.

I swore Ari was saying "shrimp fest" when he was saying "shroom fest" 😆 I used to work at red lobster, and although wasn't an avid weed smoker, I'd still try to hangout and smoke adter work whenever I could. We'd get in a huge cypher in the parkinglot and pass around several huge joints and blunts until we'd get quiet and tap out. The walk back to the house I was crashing at was interesting, and when I'd get there, either That 70s Show, Rick&Morty or Robot Chicken was on T.V. ☺ I'd grab a box of CookieCrisp or whatever dessert from my backpack I stole from the restaurant, crank up the volume, and veg the fuckout. Voming from a guy who HATES stoner vegetables, Idk how the fuck I would have gotten through that period of my life otherwise... So I am stoked to watch Duncan's cartoon. I remember my first experience buying acid. I was 14 years old seeing Trey Anistagio and Phil Lesh and Friends at Jones Beach. We found a random dude selling gell tabs and we asked him how long would it last. I'll never forget what he said "once you dose, you dose- it could be for 6 hours or it could be for life. " took the acid and during the encore of the show all both bands came out with Joan Osborne and played Greatful Dead covers while the sun was setting in the background. I will never forget that experience for the rest of my life.

That norcal hippie commune shit is the EXACT shit I've always run into on communes. I've been hitchhiking and trainhopping for years and EVERY rainbow gathering and commune I've been at was just like that. I end up baby sitting children and going into town to panhandle enough to take dogs and cats to the vet. I'm not saying I'm any sort of saint by any means, but WTF dude?? Most of us out here on the road have been through gnarly shit as children. I totally understand the desire to escape or heal with drugs.... But there's no excuse for putting innocent lives in danger. Again, I'm not perfect by ANY means. Ive been through alot and have fucked up a ton too, but I'm not out there promoting these sorts of lifestyles as some sort of utopic healing lifestyle. I definitely have promoted train riding as some sort of freeing, adventurous thrill of a lifestyle in my past, but I hope ive never pitched it as a cure-all to peoples ails

Indeed, the first dose was accidental on 4/16/43 in the Sandoz lab. Hoffman had originally synthesized LSD in 1938 with the intention of obtaining a circulatory and respiratory stimulant.
