Nicomachean Ethics have really changed my life and given me hope that we could produce a generation of virtuous kids. They teach this stuff in charter schools and catholic schools but not it's not focused on in public schools. Leaving virtue out of a curriculum is as bad as leaving out any subject. It's as bad as an elementary school that didn't teach math.

Learning to make those decisions and acting virtuously is meant to be a skill that you practice and hone over time, through both study and experience. Nobody is born with an innate and perfect understanding of virtue. It is acquired through effort.

Yes, and if I am understanding correctly, the effort becomes the habit and the habit becomes worthy of modeling if it is virtuous. ​@@100legodude
