We have tons of fishing here in AZ santee! Not so much down near you in the southern part of the state but the salt river valley is some excellent fishing territory, both on the lakes and the river itself. Neat trivia fact: the salt river is the ONLY year round trout fishery located in a desert! The water is 65°F the whole year, so the trout love it

Another excellent video santee!! It's good to see these videos on so many topics, although fishing was mentioned in the diaries before he ran away, its was described as a fun time diving and catching fish an catching the fish by hand with his brothers and community and the local natives, which wasn't so hard, but it was a profitable adventure also, finding little gold nuggets and hiding the gold nuggets inside the fish in able to sneak the pieces of gold into the garrison and use as bribery to the guards to turn a blind eye while the brothers did what they did. The boy described many times he went out and meet the local tribe and other garrison soliders drinking what was described as a hooch made by the soldiers. The other time was when he and the dog were hungry and went diving in a river and finding a fish for dinner. I really like these videos, it's much appreciated.

Good morning Santee I haven't fished in years.. I remember as a kid dad waking me up early and we'd load the boat up and go out fishing for the day usually deep sea but dad loved game fishing so we'd do that alot. Funny story I was pretty young and dad tells me to throw out the fish after a long day. Me been young as didn't think it through and didn't realize he ment thrown out the bait we no longer needed lol. So I went to the fish bin and threw every single fish over the side of the boat we'd caught that day. To say dad was upset and angry is putting it lightly 😂😂 i was not allowed out again all week. Good times and great memories. It's cool that in the old west they to enjoyed the peace or art of fishing it's definitely relaxing. Nice jokes along the way mate lol.

Sweet! Hey... Goodyear true story lol... One calm day about 20 years ago I was flying a small plane close to Atlanta, GA, and the air traffic controller had a puzzle on his radar... He asked me to identify a rather large aircraft just outside of his airspace off of my left wing which he could not identify (my 2nd of at least 3 UAPs)... It was a Goodyear blimp! Yes, they never tire lol! Years later I fueled a few of them at Donaldson in Greenville, SC, and learned that there are more astronauts than blimp pilots. Also! I think the only reason Mrs. Santee doesn't have her own KZbin channel is because she would get more subscribers than Santee. As a kid I used to go beach fishing with my late father. This was during winter and there were times it was so cold we had snow on the beach. Seeing the beach, which you associate with some holidays, covered with snow can make the mind boggle somewhat. They have fishing in Skyrim now. Though avoiding the bandits, wolves and sabre cats, not to mention the dragons, can be rather distracting.

Very awesomely awesome cool and very interesting informative video, I definitely learned a lot about fishing in the old west. I got a ton of inspiration for my analog horror old West diary series Mysteriarch Mythos I’m writing.
