A cowboy comes out of the saloon and sees a man sitting in the middle of the street, fishing in a bucket. He goes up to the man and asks: "caught many?" And the man answers: "Yeah, you're the third!"

I'm English but I just love learning about the old West. It's one thing that excites me.. Not much in life excites me. I don't know why I get nostalgia from the Old West cause I was not there. Although I could have been reincarnated. I have American roots though.. My grandfather was American, although he went back to American and was never seen again after my father was conceived. He was a black soldier over here in 1944.

We have tons of fishing here in AZ santee! Not so much down near you in the southern part of the state but the salt river valley is some excellent fishing territory, both on the lakes and the river itself. Neat trivia fact: the salt river is the ONLY year round trout fishery located in a desert! The water is 65°F the whole year, so the trout love it

Another excellent video santee!! It's good to see these videos on so many topics, although fishing was mentioned in the diaries before he ran away, its was described as a fun time diving and catching fish an catching the fish by hand with his brothers and community and the local natives, which wasn't so hard, but it was a profitable adventure also, finding little gold nuggets and hiding the gold nuggets inside the fish in able to sneak the pieces of gold into the garrison and use as bribery to the guards to turn a blind eye while the brothers did what they did. The boy described many times he went out and meet the local tribe and other garrison soliders drinking what was described as a hooch made by the soldiers. The other time was when he and the dog were hungry and went diving in a river and finding a fish for dinner. I really like these videos, it's much appreciated.

Good morning Santee I haven't fished in years.. I remember as a kid dad waking me up early and we'd load the boat up and go out fishing for the day usually deep sea but dad loved game fishing so we'd do that alot. Funny story I was pretty young and dad tells me to throw out the fish after a long day. Me been young as didn't think it through and didn't realize he ment thrown out the bait we no longer needed lol. So I went to the fish bin and threw every single fish over the side of the boat we'd caught that day. To say dad was upset and angry is putting it lightly 😂😂 i was not allowed out again all week. Good times and great memories. It's cool that in the old west they to enjoyed the peace or art of fishing it's definitely relaxing. Nice jokes along the way mate lol.

Sweet! Hey... Goodyear true story lol... One calm day about 20 years ago I was flying a small plane close to Atlanta, GA, and the air traffic controller had a puzzle on his radar... He asked me to identify a rather large aircraft just outside of his airspace off of my left wing which he could not identify (my 2nd of at least 3 UAPs)... It was a Goodyear blimp! Yes, they never tire lol! Years later I fueled a few of them at Donaldson in Greenville, SC, and learned that there are more astronauts than blimp pilots. Also! I live a few miles from a great fishin’ lake and get in a rod and reel every chance I get!

Oh, my gosh, my son in law and my youngest son are addicted to fishing. We all go Salmon fishing in Gold Beach, Oregon once a year and the boys will try to fish in a mud puddle if necessary just to fish! When I was a child in Ohio, we would tie a string to a stick, tie on a hook with a worm and sit for hours on a river bank. Sometimes we actual caught a fish. Good video! As always.

First. Now that I've planted the flag, i would like to thank myself for making this possible. My procrastination of daily chores, my endurance to take a 30m #2, my technological addiction that means I'm never without my phone. Last night, i almost didn't bring my phone charger into the bedroom. Looking back, that could have delayed or more likely, ruined this moment of sublime gratification. I feel like the youtube first-er version of batman, who, with enough prep time, can overcome any obstacle. In closing, thank you for these videos.

Nice episode. I like to go fishing too. I tend to use the easier methods like fly fishing. I also try simple hand lines from time to time. In my neck of the woods it´s often better to avoid getting close to other fishermen. They really hate it when "the fish don´t bite" and you get to play the fish after the first few casts.

Verde River has some nice places to fish and I believe it is stocked with trout once or twice a year. I think I fished a section of Fossil Creek and tried Clear Creek as well as other small streams and of course the big reservoirs. But fishing the West could take you to some places in Colorado. I would like to try the Snake some day. I wouldn't try the dynamite at Page Springs Hatchery. He might find a pair of goofy blondes to go swimming there unless Ford and Fonda already pick them up. It also should be noted that in some fishing milieus one could run into an angry bear who considers it is his private fishin hole.

Some of my best fishing was done with the muzzleloader, as long as the water isn't too deep same effect as Dynamite, the stream was full of suckers and I had large Oscars at home that loved live fish and crawdads

I think the only reason Mrs. Santee doesn't have her own KZbin channel is because she would get more subscribers than Santee. As a kid I used to go beach fishing with my late father. This was during winter and there were times it was so cold we had snow on the beach. Seeing the beach, which you associate with some holidays, covered with snow can make the mind boggle somewhat. They have fishing in Skyrim now. Though avoiding the bandits, wolves and sabre cats, not to mention the dragons, can be rather distracting.
