Thanks a lot man!!! Ps: I am getting a little more serious now and I am writing a trainingsplan. I will definetly take some input of yours :-)

@gb88142 жыл бұрын
sorry the title is"what to do against king move" posted one year ago
@ehoc422 жыл бұрын
Hi Todd, why do do the towel backpressure movement from a lower pulley angle? I like that it is more relevant to a toproll as it forces you to fight for height.
@toddhutchings9062 жыл бұрын
The high pulley is lifting my elbow up. That’s what tall top rollers feel like. Variation is always necessary and I do low pulley work also
@martymiller65652 жыл бұрын
Is training always the same, or does it vary based on your opponent? Are you going to work on anything specific to defeat Michaels kings move?
@toddhutchings9062 жыл бұрын
Varies based on opponent and current weak spot. I’ll develop a defense to a press and an offense to the King Move.

We all remember when you top rolled Jerry. I’m convinced the only reason you aren’t a top roller, is because you want the match to at least seem fair 🙃

It's kind of surprising that you wont be doing isolated wrist or supination work knowing that you'll be going against toprollers. I guess your plan is to slip with a toproll and go to the straps, let them take your hand, and side pressure them with your hand back like you did to Matt Mask. However, I think the toprollers would be a lot more uncomfortable against you if they couldn't bust your wrist back, since that would leave them with no chance since you're pretty much unbeatable in a hook. Seems like you're making your plan b your plan a which is interesting.
@toddhutchings9062 жыл бұрын
Wrist and hand work is done immediately after the vector work with the same handle. I don’t wrist curl barbells or dumbbells, I don’t like the hand position nor the supported forearm.
