Other fun fact: In the music video of I don’t wanna miss a thing it features a cameo by Liv Tyler in her role as Grace Stamper
@AJ1987LV
@AJ1987LV Ай бұрын
@@ClaudioTV2005 It wasn't really cameo as the song was written specifically for the movie (and that goodbye scene where Liv cries 'Daddy' was what convinced Steven Tyler to perform the song), and they naturally used shots from the movie. Just trivia fact - many mistakenly say that the song was written by Aerosmith - it was not, the author is Diane Warren. They offered Aerosmith to do the song as they already used some of their tracks for soundtrack and thought it would fit well for them to do the main song as well.

I hate to defend him but Michael Bay was absolutely right. Decades of drilling experience and instinct can't be taught in a few day crash course. Also they weren't taught how to be astronauts, they were taught the pure basics and had actual astronauts to back them up, that makes actual sense.

"AJ, I got just five words for you: Damn glad to see you boy!" "That's six words." Fun Fact: The film opened on Liv Tyler's twenty-first birthday. Casting Notes Fact: First major starring role for Michael Clarke Duncan, prior to this film he had done very small roles in TV and in film. Not Excessive Fact: After Rockhound (Steve Buscemi) gets space dementia, the shuttle crew wraps him in duct tape, which is, in fact, NASA protocol for immobilizing a crazed crew member. Free NASA Training Fact: NASA shows this film during their management training program. New managers are given the task of trying to spot as many errors as possible. At least 168 have been found. He's Not Wrong Fact: Rockhound's (Steve Buscemi) line about sitting on a million pounds of fuel in a rocket built by the lowest bidder is a variation of an actual radio transmission by Mercury astronaut Alan Shepard, just prior to lift-off.

spoiling me with these times. this movie doesn’t get enough love for how great it is. the characters are just so lovable and hilarious. I don’t know how anyone can watch any of them kicking the bucket and not cry. when they succeed, it’s just the most triumphant thing ever. laughing, crying, and cheering. what more could you ask for? as a kid, the destruction scenes were horrifying. can’t forget the amazing music. I don’t know what else to say.

Your puppies are the best, I love that they wanted to comfort you. The one that sat up on his hindlegs was so adorable.

This reaction may be the greatest reaction I've ever watched, without hyperbole. Great job. Puppo going into begging pose out of worry was just amazing.

The guy who came up with the idea to blow the asteroid from the middle was Jason Isaacs. He plays villainess characters a lot and he is damn good at it but I love him in everything he does. He was the bad guy in The Patriot and he played Daddy Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies.

"I'm not crying, you're crying!" The moment I saw you start to cry, I realized I'd been crying for about 5 minutes. And I've seen this thing a dozen times. :)

I am so envious of the way your dogs love you. I've never had anyone/anything look at me with that much devotion. It shows that you are a very special person.
