Another pretty bow! Grozer bows are beautiful and they have that historic shape I look for in a bow! And they perform awesome, thanks for another great review my friend!

Grozer always hits it out the park it seems. That bow looks stunning, what great paint work. As always great review. Hope to one day own a Grozer bow, his bows looks like works of art both visually and in use.

Awesome BOW!! And this is why I said I love Grozers work and bows! And Armin those thumbs downs are usually people who have other channels and are "Haters" seeing your channel do so well... So pay them no "attention" we love your channel and you are hands down one of if not the" Best "channel yet! Thank you.

Holy crap that seems amazing. I have noticed how my laminated Turkish, ottoman style bow loves a short draw with a lighter arrow... So snappy...

I suspect that Grozer leaves that seam on the back of the handle to represent the "matn", from which line, one can determine if their hand grip is positioned correctly. See pages 70-73 in Adam Swoboda's "The Art of Shooting a Short Reflexed Bow" for examples. Thank you Armin, for another great video - you are a major source of entertainment for me!

Thank you Armin, I asked you the test of this bow and you done it in very few time. Mine is 50#28", and thanks to the thicker limbs, it is more resistant to twisting than the one 39 lbs you tested. If I may allow some advice: to arm such short bows, or with very pre-curved shapes or made in natural materials, to avoid any kind of twisting and to allow both limbs to bend equally, use a string ring (I use a damper band with a knot) of about 20 cm in diameter that you put on the ankle of the left foot and put the tip of the arch there instead of putting it in the cavity of the instep. In fact, I noticed that the bow was badly armed with a strong asymmetry and some torsion. I use 850 grain arrows, mainly for hunting use and with extremely advanced FOC (Grizzlystick), and seeing the images in slow motion, mine always fly perfectly straight with khatra without any contact to the center of the bow and, perhaps thanks to the high weight, they greatly raise the bow performance with 53/54 # to 30 ", they travel on 170 fps. For the rest I agree with all your test, even mine slightly flexes on the handle and with such heavy arrows it is super silent and without any vibration. A greeting and thanks again for the interesting test.

I don't know how everyone else feels about this, but to me this is the kind of bow that is much closer to a work of art. So much so, that I would have reservations about using it. I've dicussed this with my friends a couple of times (although the subject was knives not bows, same principle tho), and they all said I'm an idiot (ehh what's new 😅). But still, I feel the same, I believe Armin's judgement that it's a near perfect bow, yet I would hesitate to take it out to the field.
@yolfio38733 жыл бұрын
I don’t know why but in my opinions if my weapon doesn’t look like a peace of art I don’t want to use it
@aronnemcsik2 жыл бұрын
because it looks like a piece of art is the reason you should use it. You can give the best service to a bow(or knife in your friends case) if you using it. That would be true appriciation of such a great artistic tool. any tool that serves a purpose is meant to be used so it could show it's full beauty.

Armin, thank you so much for, again, an exceptionally good review. You say, @ 0820, it is not as easy to shoot at the Tatar, so as an adult (67yo) first timer, what weight would you suggest?

Is it correct that is available 30-80# ? It seems Grozer's website is not up to date on poundages because I inquired about a bow and he told me that it is only available at a lower poundage that what is listed in his website... for this bow he lists 30-65# , are you sure it is 30-80#?

I suggest that for archers using khatra a lot a narrow arrowpass causes deviation to the left. But 26 mm are just fine. Am I right or am I right?) Talking about the thumb release, of course.

Worth investigating :) and maybe doing a video

@@ArminHirmer Thank you. I think a narrow arrowpass is ideal for the Mediterranean draw. Or thumbdraw without side khatra.
@ArminHirmer3 жыл бұрын
@@VladMcMerlin I personally always like to have a narrow arrow pass in conjunction with a good brace height, even for khatra and string twist :) but I will test it

Depends on the recommended gpp. With Grozer 8gpp x 80

The Turks I've heard used 30 gram arrows so 462 grain arrows. Crazy light. If they were drawing very high draw weights it would be like compound bows and modern crossbows shooting 2-5 gpp arrows.
