Jay... I've said it before many times, but you've been a HUGE INSPIRATION for me to keep fit and active. Especially since I'm 51, 3 kids, busy lifestyle and mild arthritis. I've LOVED lifting ever since I was 13, when I started. I used to dream of being as big as you were in your prime and now focusing on the same things you are. Thanks for all you do for the industry!!!!!

I totally love the vibe here; for me personally, I use bodybuilding as a catalyst to achieve dreams that are, frankly, completely unrelated to bodybuilding, but when I train, I think about the future and my faith, and how close I am to making those dreams reality. You motivate me just by being yourself. No ego. Just go in the gym, train and not trying to impress anyone. I like the way you encourage the girl by telling her that she lifts heavier weights than you :) The way you interact with folks, the way you ask them about themselves, there is something about you that just brightens up the room as soon as you enter. I'm sure someone at a gym who doesn't know you (is it possible?) would guess there's something special about you. Champions with charisma and confidence have a way about them. Its the Jay Cutler way.

@@JayCutlerTV There you go: humility and desire to motivate others. We really feel that it's honest with you. Why? Because in each of the videos you put out on KZbin, whether it's your Jaywalks or your forays into different gyms, there are always two things that constantly come up: one, your questions about life and your own hesitations which makes us identify with you even more. And two, your insatiable curiosity about others. The varied questions you ask those who are with you or those who come to talk to you always seem genuine. Many other champions are appreciated and have charisma, of course. The difference with you is that we definitely want to become your friend. There are great Mr Olympias. And there's Jay Cutler. The People's champion.

I agree, I like to see the muscle I'm working it helps with my mind muscle connection, however, I have in the past struggled with body dismorphia so when I have put on some lbs I tend to cover up and avoid looking at myself while working out, still working on that. Visualising my best physique as you say is helping. P.s In Australia here I pay $18 a week for gym membership 👍

In Hungary, in my hometown (population of 60K people if that matters) a gym membership for a month is around 50 USD and that is for the best gym in town. I used to go to a Metroflex type gym when I was a teenager and that gym membership cost 3! USD a month, 10-12 years ago. Nowadays it is like 18ish USD, which is still a fair price tbh, considering the fact that the gym is 24/7.

Some honest criticism from me and it's really nothing but the little bursts of rap music here and there is an annoying thing for me. It comes in loud so when I watch the video I'm constantly messing with the volume to keep from blowing my ears out. Not exactly my favorite music either. But that's just me! The last couple of months I am learning to engage more of the whole body while training any muscle and moving on the intended muscle. Finding the stretched position and moving through its function while letting the muscle dictate the range is yielding greater results. I am never going back to strict form as it is limiting my ability to confidently exceed the capacity of a muscle or reach those deeper fibers. The pumps are greater, the results are pleasing, the feeling is clearer, my ability to visualise during the exercise is more vibrant and I am having more fun. Your manner of training, control and ability to move and engage on the intended muscle is something for me to strive for.

I would be surprised how it is for you Jay is mainly in Vegas, when was the last time you paid for an annual membership at a gym!? It seems like you can safely train for free in any gym in Vegas without paying anything, and test and train everything from good to special equipment-specific properties for this one muscle?! By the way, I live in Switzerland 🇨🇭, here it is certainly more expensive to have a full membership for 1 year in the large modern studios with use of various saunas, steam baths, swimming, cold & hot baths... They are often between normal 2000 .-$ to 2800-3000.-$! Just a gym with weights and nothing else, you can find something like $650-$1000 with a little less quality for a few points of a studio! greetings 🤗🙏🏼🇨🇭

Luckily, I don't pay over 280/mo. I'm 71 and retired. With my AARP supplemental Medicare insurance, it comes with free gym access to many establishments.(sorry if I sound like an advertisement) It's a lifesaver for me. I've been battling acute poly rheumatoid arthritis for 15 years. Strength and cardio training 5/days per week 2 hours/day is a must or I'd be back bedridden with extreme inflammatory pain. Of course not anywhere near Jay Cutler intensity though. It took me many years after coming down with the disease to get to this point to say I can actually jog and strength train. I have my own gym in the basement, but like the variety of the gyms that I could only go too because of the AARP insurance benefit.

I quit going to gyms...I can't stand people and the gym culture now . I work out at home in my 50 degree basement. Raw and real no busy chit chat or waiting for equipment and cringy gym patrons.
