I love the Hispanic way of pronouncing the word "sandwiches" - "sangwitches" just the way my Uncle reg pronounced it. ❤

Liked the video. We always like to salt and pepper the meat when cooking. Also, up north we call that "side pork".

I'm almost 48 years old and I never thought to put pickles on a BLT... Thank you, Arnie. 😅

I love pickles, even by themselves with a shake of habanero powder next to my popcorn while watching movies haha.

I myself cure and smoke my bacon homemade. It's better than anything at the store. It just takes about 4 days in all, but I vacuum sill and freeze.

Hi Arnie, love your channel. I'm leaving AZ in the next week to visit Hill Country for the Winter. Gonna be checking out some of your stops. My first stop is always HEB. Can't get a lot of that stuff here.

(I know this is against your *current* sponsor..) But, I just wanted to thank you! I've been watching your videos on my PS5, and I was unable to comment. (The videos sponsored by Viking) I just happened into a Marshall's, today.. and saw a 12" Viking that usually sells for $129, for $24.99. I instantly thought of your sponsorships, and impulse purchased.. Absolutely IN LOVE with it! Thanks again for the recommendation, even if it's outdated! :)

I'll bet you have not even tried it with the pork belly and just trolling since your post was immediate after Arnies video dropped. if you actually listened, bacon IS pork belly cured, smoked, sliced and often treated with nitrites.

You know that oil back in the day was used to keep metal lubricated , now somehow it found its way into our bodies causing weight gain, diabetes, heart disease etc… other than that oil catastrophe your video was jam up, pumping up the jams.

Oil has been used to cook longer than metal tools and weapons have existed brother. Now, you may be referring to canola/soybean/seed oil which does in fact use petroleum based solvents in order to extract the most oil possible, but olive and avocado oil are perfectly safe and delicious as long as they have minimal processing.
@jonathankuhn4832 ай бұрын
Respectfully, you are incorrect. Animal fats and plant based fats have always been in the human diet. They were and are a massive part of Alaskan and Nordic diets
@@danielploy9143 Not sure how that idea even entered your mind since not at any time did I add oil, it's just the natural fat from the pork belly. On the contrary I had taken some out since quiet a bit rendered out of the belly, and yes natural animal fats are way better than any store bought oils. Tnx
