There was a part in Conan the Barbarian where his love interest comes as an entity (after she dies) to prevent this guy from performing the final blow to Conan. She asks Conan, "do you want to live forever?" Some reason that question stayed in my head for years from childhood when I saw that movie to now. For Conan, living forever was becoming a King and his story being shared forever as he becomes a legend. I truly feel Arnold can never die because he has left so much behind that our memories of him from his movies, accomplishments, or even videos preserved on KZbin will keep him around forever. Striving to live forever doesn't mean being alive forever but making a huge impact that people later on ten years, hundred years or even a thousand years will still live on through what you brought into the world.
@ronarprefect770911 ай бұрын
This world will not likely be here 1000 years from now. If it does survive that long, youtube will be gone by that time and very few people will remember who Arnold was. Give enough time, nobody will remember who he was. Besides, being remembered is a poor form of immortality that is not real immortality. You aren't going to know or care how many people remember you once you are dead. True immortality exists for those who are born again by grace through faith in Jesus Christ , the only begotten Son of God . Any other form of "immortality" is false, yet people neglect true immortality to pursue the pleasures of this life, the memories of which are to fail completely and be as if they never were.

sir, you are my only guiding light in this world. last year, I weighed 105 kilos, was prediabetic, didn’t get into any college. now I’ve lost 30 kilos, am fit, studying in a world top 10 college. I attribute all my achievements to your guidance. Over the last year, i read everything about you, what you have written, the encyclopaedia of modern bodybuilding, pumping iron, terminator, predator, commando, twins, true lies, FUBAR. I listen to all your PUMP CLUB podcasts with my workout on Spotify. You are my driving force, and I can’t even imagine where I would be without you. I am soon planning to visit Graz, just to get a sense of where you began and correlate it with my humble beginnings, I promise you that I will take your legacy forward. I wish you a long and healthy life sir. Love, Aryan

First time, I've ever got to see Arnold on my TV was from the Terminator Series. while growing up, of course I saw the Conan the Barbarian movie as well. Guess the quote "What is best in Life. Is to crush your enemies(Challenges) see them driven before you and hear the lamentations of their women." primarily the "crush your enemies and what is best in life", cause well they are for the most part a challenge to life one that can be overcome by being a better version of yourself. and the best part of life is enjoying what time we have no matter how limited, in some way we'll always "be back." throughout the Legacy we leave. even with the book, this man is always a great reminder to stay humble. _Appreciate you Arnold._

Born in a tiny village in post-WWII Austria. Came to the US with almost no money, spoke very little English, and became the most famous and successful bodybuilding champion in the world, while starting a successful contruction company. Became the biggest movie star on the planet. Married a Kennedy. Became the governor of the most populous state in the US. Won re-election. Went back to making movies. At 70+, he’s still fit and sharp as a tack. If anyone is qualified to write a treatise on success, it’s Arnold.
