I wind my way along the Great Ocean Road and venture into Melbourne before heading inland to Bathurst. It's not getting any warmer and the roads are wet, but it's still better than being at work.

Thanks for your video. Followed a similar route from Adelaide to Wilson’s Promintory on my Teneré 660 back in October of 2022. It’s a great ride including the ferry ride to Sorrento. Bought back some good memories👍

It's a great ride through that part of the world, just a shame it rained along pretty much the entire GOR. The ferry is a great time saver and avoids a lot of boring (and dangerous) freeway.

Yes it did. However by the end of the first day I was back in the groove but it makes a big difference. Like having a pillion almost. I touch on the extra weight in my wrap up video that I'm in the middle of at the moment.

@@abitofadetour7315 Thanks for the reply, I'm making a rack/ sissy and saddle bag combo currently. I'm stripping weight from the bike to compensate. I'm too short, which I was told that I would grow out of. Dunno how I'll throw a leg over,or back pedal. But l I'm going to Tassie anyway

@@stevestacey5272 There’s a million reasons not to go, you just need to do it. You only get one turn at this life caper. I would suggest keeping the weight as low as possible. Light bulky stuff up high, heavy dense stuff down low.

I plan on doing a short wrap up video after the final episode is done in a week or so. It will give an outline of what I spent, gear I used, and didn't use, fuel consumed etc. Short answer is it was cheaper than I thought it would be going in, but like any long trip, it adds up.
