Arrma Vendetta comparison, upgrade, and night time speed runs🤘

In this video we do a quick side by side comparison of the Arrma Vendetta and the 3s Infraction. Afterwards we adjust and upgrade the Vendetta including adding a Castle Mamba X 6s capable ESC. With temperatures getting up to 105+ I decided to add some flashing lights and try my first night time speed runs on 3s and 4s. my apologies for the poor running footage. I think the aim on my hat mount somehow got moved down a little from where I usually have it. New PB!! 100 💯 here we come!!

I’m currently working on a vendetta. I pretty much have done every modification you can find. All alloy control arms, hubs, tierods, shocks, hot racing alloy shaft, alloy center bearing w/ceramic. Replaced all bearings w/ceramic fast Eddys. (Most expensive item). I then installed a 44T spur and eliminated the slipper, then changed the pinion to 32T. I then put 2.4 silver dboots wheels / tires. Then I did carbon front side rear and wing. So, long story short, I’ve struggled a lot with the stock esc and motor. Next move is installing a 120amp firma then run it in 4s. Once I feel I’ve exhausted all potential for that, then I’m going to install a castle mmx8s w/ 1717. Most say it won’t fit that motor, but I bought it already as a combo brand new for $240. My plan is to use a rpm esc cage, relocate the receiver box to the front battery side. Cut off the servo mount. The. Install a single carbon 6s style servo mount, so I can make way more room for the castle setup. If it truly does not fit, then I’m looking at the 1512 or 1515. When I install the 120amp, I’m also going to convert to 17mm hex and run bar wheels/tires. Will see what happens! Thanks!!. Wow you are really going to town on your Vendetta! I imagine between all the weight of the aluminum, and the spur/pinion change it's gotta put a lot of strain on the stock setup for sure. I have the mmx6s 1515 combo in my Teckno mt410 and I love it! It was the 1st RC kit I had ever done and I originally bought the 1515 with the Sidewinder combo but that ESC was too big. So I bought a mamba x6s. The motor connections are too small on that ESC for the 1515. So I finally bought the mmx6s and it's awesome. My trial and error on that one was a bit expensive lol. The mamba x is what I've got in my vendetta now but one of the battery wires got cut and after soldering new wire on it cuts out when I try to run 5 or 6s. Probably my crappy soldering heh. If you like speed run videos, check out KBash KZbin channel. He doesn't always show his setup, but I've seen him get his vendetta over 100 on 2s. Crazy. @@deeztrucks0505 awesome man!! Yeah I’ve actually had a few combos with kbash. He advised that I do the 17mm hex conversion. Then run either GRP tires or BSR purples. I’m going to start posting videos in my page also on here. The good the bad the ugly. Once I’ve scaled up in power in the vendetta and workout gearing, batteries etc. then I’m moving Onto my other car. I have a limitless v2 brand new. But I want to get better with the vendetta before I jump into that. The limitless is going to be a full blown shelf queen, that I’m actually going To run. Same with the vendetta, my goal is to make the car look good and go fast at the same time. I actually am considering putting the composite sticker parts back into it to save some weight. I’ll be watching your next videos!!

I ran my vendetta today on 4s ran 83mph and hit the brake and hit a stupid lane reflector did a front flip then about 10 cartwheels and landed on its feet. Nothing broke just scraped the hell up. These cars are durable for sure.

Ouch. I hit a crack in the road at high speed with mine once (when I was doing the first speed runs with it and forgot to turn the camera on lol) that sent it flying.! Only a foot or two in hight but for 20 or 30 feet forward. Somehow it managed to stay straight and land on all 4 wheels. Amazing.! I took my 3s Infraction to the skatepark and still can't believe that nothing broke. Surprises me sometimes how durable.... If everything works out I am going to try 6s my next days off and hoping to hit 100 💯 but I kinda need to find a better place.

We started with tightening rear shocks down all the way. Then front shocks down half way. Set the AVC gyro knob on radio to half way otherwise rear end wobbles with speed. Put a chassis brace bar in it. Then we’ll see what happens next!

That reminds me that I forgot to show tightening the rear shock collars down. I thought about a brace bar but not sure what length would fit. Did you fit one?

@@deeztrucks0505the 1 for the infraction will work , I cut 1/4” off each end bc it’s not threaded all the way and the rod ends need to be purchased separately. The red one is the 1 I have it was 12$ n ends were 5
