I’m glad to see velocity being her Hyena self, and I’m glad that you’re eggs are starting to come back. My hens have started laying about 3 weeks ago, and I’m getting about 5-8 eggs a day.

Velocity had me cracking up with her take downs. I love how she cuts him off on the inside and body slams him. She was on that azz today. Poor Preacher Man, he really is a mama's boy. He was OK when it was just a few dogs/puppies but now he definitely does not like to share. He'll be fine. MadMan always make me laugh when he does his fly by runs staring at the camera, like "hey y'all, look at me. I'm a star". :) Thanks for the upload!

I love that Velocity still plays with the puppies teaching them how to interact with the elders properly. And I remember the early days when she had difficulty reading situations. Aww poor Preacher man. Obviously I don't know how long he's been acting out but it makes sense since on your other channel you described a very stressful situation regarding someone trying to take you down. To me that sounds like an incredibly stressful situation and I think Preacher just wants to be with you to help mediate your feelings. He's the best boy.

Could it be that Preacher is getting older and cannot hold his bladder the way he did when he was younger. I know that my son's male German Shepherd began to "mark" all over the house when he turned six or seven. I found that it was just because he didn't have the control he had when he was two/ three or even four years old. I ended up building a litter box in the garage for him and the female. It worked out beautifully and solved the "marking" problem.

Man just watching Velocity in this video really solidified in my mind that she and Blondie are coalphas in the pack. I first began to notice the change shortly after you first moved to Virginia. Her and Blondie completely made amends and hasn’t had altercation (that I can remember) since they’ve been in Virginia. Blondie actually seems to give Velocity the same respect Velocity gives her. Over the last few months Velocity has been displaying more and more alpha female behavior in every video she’s in. In this video she fully took on the alpha role. Everything she did is exactly what Blondie what’ve done. Even Madman showed her respect by not attempting to challenge her for the stick after she took it. Nor did he get aggressive towards her during her few attempts at taking it back after she dropped it. I’m so proud of Velocity and how far she has came. We often talk about growth in humans but honestly Velocity is a prime example and proof of growth happening in animals as well. I love to see it. Thanks for the upload.

I think Cashmere saved a spot for Velocity at the top, she could see the dog Velocity would become and as Rachel has said, Velocity was the ONLY dog Cashmere completely accepted around her babies. I think that the most important thing Cashmere instilled into her lines, that has been proven time and again, is the ultimate respect for the matriarch. Blondie needed to assert her new position as Alpha because Velocity has always been older and slightly higher in rank than Blondie once Velocity grew out of her Omega phase, but now that that period had passed, she has given Velocity full respect based on her relationship to her mother. So beautiful to see, the females truly rule the pack.

I feel you with the pawing, my biggest dog has always used his feet like that when he’s playing. I’ve had my arms and legs all bruised up from him punching me pretty much 😂. His nails definitely stay the shortest of all my dogs

Edit: Poor Preacher is feeling unloved. He was your main man for years, definitely acting out. I hear you on Madman throwing the paw. My Saints love doing that 😵and if I’m laying on the couch one of the two females saints will literally sit on my head. Almost impossible to escape those big bootys😳 They both have been in competition on who can take mom out of commission. Big dogs don’t know their own size or strength. Hopefully under your eye heals quickly ❤

Hi Everyone! We deal with cats' back paws with open claws. They will be gently playing without realizing human skin is not tough liked themselves. My hubby had gotten his eyelid caught yesterday when laying down. I hope you are okay. Velocity is fabulous co-leader female of pack and she is great at corrections. LOL , Kubrick is lucky that he was not dealing with Velocity, Blondie and Nirvana for he would had been nonstopped on ground in three ladies' corrections. Preacher is going through bad grumpy attention times that he will hopefully get out of soon. With my male cats when comes to this issue is usually because one not liking sharing myself and dominance marking towards other boys. It was one where I had to retrain in obedience training and acceptance of sharing myself with other cats with my own dominance firm tone of corrections. It was backup by Simba and his correction paw by holding bad cat's head to ground along with firm steady soft growl until bad cat quiets down in body relaxation and release of deep breath. Simba is extremely emotional and mental tightly bonded with me along with he is very protective of me as much as Preacher is with you. I hope everyone have great safe night and Thursday. 🙂♥️

Velocity is awesome. She taking that youngster down, but he kept coming back... And look at Madman laying there with his stick just taking it all in... I can't remember Madman ever correcting any of the young pups. I'm sure he has a just can't remember it... I can't believe that Preacher is still marking in the house. Did you ever get him checked out for trouble with any of his organs... He's at the age and we don't want him having any issues like Achilles... If there is something wrong the earlier you catch it the better might not be anything but better safe than sorry...✌️
