I'm a dog washer and what we do at the shop I work at we do use the blue shampoo but we dilute it with water and wash 2 to 3 times and let sit in between so it takes out the yellow but doesn't leave blue. We also apply the water and soap mixture with a lufa to really scrub and saturate the fur. It may not work for everyone but it works for us

I know for me I like to be able to do stuff on my own instead of waiting for someone else to do it. LOL I probably need to work on that. Can't wait to see your garden. Easier thing to do is buy a high velocity dryer and dry him before letting him run around outside while still wet. 🥰

I once bought 4 Easter Eggers they were supposedly 90% pullets and 10% cockeral, I managed too get 3 males 1 female. I was so excited too get green eggs and she layed brown. So disappointed. I later on bought a blue true ameraucana rooster that breed to that Easter egger. So I hatched some eggs and got 1 black chick that i gave too my broody cochin too raise. This chick came from the brown Easter egger that layed brown eggs. The chick grew up to be solid black had a beard and no tail, so I think the Easter egger was a cross of a aurucana and some brown egg layer and that chick somehow got those genes. It's weird since the mom had a beard and tail and the dad was a pure ameraucana. Chicken genetics can be quite random at times

oh man; it takes me a while to bathe my well behaved 6pound chihuahua as it is cuz shes got a lot of hair and takes effort to work in the shampoo and reins it out. so i feel your pain with having to give him another bath... LOL the chickies look great. looking forward to seeing these guyes off spring and what colors they will be
