See, while I would absolutely love for that to happen, the problem would be that Batman would steal all the attention away from the other heroes and then other people who don't already watch the shows would only want to see it for Batman, even though he should not be the main reason for them to do so. Like how many more people watched the Supergirl Season 2 premiere, Season 2 Episode 2 and the Season 2 finale just for Superman, even though he is not supposed to be the main reason for them to watch it? Therefore, the best solution would be to give him his own show on the CW so that way people would get to see him, but it wouldn't steal the attention from the other heroes in other shows, but at least it would give people a main reason to want to see the new Batman show, if that makes sense... Idk I would still love to see him either way. lol

The Flash didn't start off like that, remember in season 1 Oliver was able to take on Barry in a hand to hand fight. And whilst the flash's powers would make a lot of Arrow's villains non threats, as shown when he rescued team arrow from nanda parbet, it's easier to find reasons to keep Flash busy inside the speedforce etc, then it is to excuse Superman from rescuing everyone form an island about to blow up

The point I was making that there are many different ways to incapacitate Barry, he has a lot of weaknesses, unlike Superman who at this stage in the Arrowverse has no equals in strength (excluding Kara) and only has three weaknesses. It is possible to write legitimate stories in a world with the Flash without a great amount of plot convenience needed to weaken him. Superman on the hand is different

Also in the episode in the Flash where Barry finds out about the hidden room from Wells in season 1. Gideon before she is cut off says that Barry is the “founding member of the....” which means he is the founding member of the Justice League. Some day we will see Superman, Batman, Flash, Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter who are real characters in the show (Apart from Batman but like in this video he is referenced a lot) and possibly Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Green Lantern.

Including Batman in the arrowverse is tricky. They pretty much transplanted a huge Batman story onto Green Arrow. Batman is supposed to be a far superior hero to Green Arrow. I’m not sure how they’re going to include Batman without nerfing him, since he would make GA seem unnecessary in his own show.

If they cross over the Gotham series, EXTREMELY UNLIKELY, then they could have future Bruce (well, future to the Gotham tv show) fighting with them on Arrow or The Flash, and then mention it in a later Gotham season. Or, again, EXTREMELY UNLIKELY, they could fully cross over the shows, and instead of having future Bruce, Barry could travel to the time of the Gotham tv show (don’t watch that much of it so not sure on the date) and take Bruce to fight with them. Would be messed up though. And unlikely

Batman should make an appearance in Arrow. It seems almost inevitable at this point. Arrow would be like the perfect setting for his first appearance. It would be pretty cool. He doesn't have to be a frequent character, it could be like how Superman appears occasionally in Supergirl to help out & if they are so worried about not getting Ben Affleck to play him because of the DC cinematic universe they can just have someone else play him while only staying in costume the whole time when he’s visiting the Arrow.

Personally, I would include Harrison Well's line as a reference. Harrison's comment is just too on the nose and can be applied to both Arrow and Batman as caution against vigilantism. The viewers know who Batman is and what he stands for and when Wells said that line Batman was the first guy I thought of. The comment was even muffled could easily misheard as "Batman" instead "that man", almost like the creators wanted ambiguity and room for the interpretation by the audience.
