Hello. I bought an early version of this rifle from Sandwell. It was in 22 and running at 30 ft/lbs. It is the best air rifle I have ever had. It fills the gap between my 177 Falcon and my 22 BRNO rimfire.

Had a good think at work today Dan , good review by the way , changing the subject to the hw97 under lever ,, gonna request one for my birthday next month or a s a p , if we are still in lock down mid May ,, after watching your review then loads of others , I’m sold ,,I grew up with spring guns , I’m now 55 , don’t do hunting go to local shooting club and have bench to rest on so weight will never be an issue , plus having to cock it and go through the loading process won’t go through pellets at a rapid rate as with the pcp, quite looking forward to it , like the dark wood stock and thumb hole version and also the blue grey laminate ,,, cheers Shane uk 🇬🇧
@bigdansairguns834 жыл бұрын
Hi Shane, I love my 97, they're so easy to shoot well and they 're pellet on pellet pretty much no matter how you hold them. The other advantage to the wooden stock is that they also come with an adjustable butt pad as standard unlike the synthetics which are solid. You won't regret getting the 97 mate trust me. Cheers Shane and let me know what you think of it when you pick it up.

Thanks Dan, have one in .22 cal full power, (I am in South Africa), they are really good, and a buck for the money, in par with most of high end guns. By the way I am not in any assosiation with the manufactor, it's just that, is such a nice rifle, although could be better. thanks again, looking foward for the next vids from you.

Hi David. Thanks ever so much mate it means a lot. The M16D is a brilliant rifle mate and the M16 series are easily one of my favourite PCP families. They're an incredibly capable bit of kit and if you're into tweaking there's an absolute wealth of upgrade parts available. Thanks David!

Mine in 22 is going back.. seemed ok at first using jsb on my short garden range....when it ran down to 180bar the poi shifted.. refilled and it was ok....tested again from 180fill and as the bottle ran lower velocity was going up....reached 16fpe.....ran it over combro crony today and it's all the place...no consistency.....I have ano in 177 and it's fine with bis mags.....must be a regulator problem

Hey mate, Baracuda's are pretty good out to about 40 yards but it's beyond that range that they drop off. FTT's are much better at range and I've heard some very good results with those QYS Chinese pellets. Might be worth a look!

Hi Dan I've just purchased this Rifle a few days ago from sandwell field sports and it's the first gun I've had that's regulated, could you please tell me if I need to make an adjustment to the regulator if at all thanks.
@bigdansairguns836 жыл бұрын
Hi Chloe, As long as the rifle is performing as it should be regarding power/shot count then there should be no need to adjust the regulator nor hammer spring. It should perform perfectly straight out of the box. If you're uncertain it would be best to take it back to Sandwell to let them either run some tests on the rifle and send it back to SMK if anything is under performing or repair it in store. Although you can easily adjust the regulator on the M16's yourself I highly suggest that you take it back to Sandwell if it isn't performing properly as stripping the rifle could void the warranty. Thanks Chloe and I hope this helps.

what about the more conventional looking m16 ? no bottle just a conventional air tube and a slimmer neater stock, but same side lever cocking, shrouded barrel+silencer? is that a newer version or older...... saw one review on it but was in Spanish and was same gun under the name 'fox' but same model m16 with tube as opposed to a bottle..
@bigdansairguns835 жыл бұрын
Hi mate, The M16 with the standard air cylinder is the first model of the Artemis M16 that was released. Although it didn't have a large bottle it was still regulated and capable of over 140 shots per fill. If I'm being honest... it's actually my personal favourite Artemis rifle. It's light, good looking and incredibly accurate to go with it. I've currently got one as a test rifle so customers can see how the M16 family handles and shoots. Might have to review it soon but I've got another rifle in the works at the moment. Cheers mate.
@lfcmarkeb71245 жыл бұрын

Hi Scott! Thanks for the kind comments Scott it means a lot mate, yeah I agree it would definitely benefit from a little bit of added detail towards the front end to really make it stand out, it's very reminiscent of the Mk 1 Rapid albeit a slightly prettier one in my opinion (please don't kill me Rapid fans I know you're a passionate bunch). If you want to come down and take a few rifles for a spin or just have a chat the best thing to do is to get in touch at bigdansairguns.co.uk or email us at bigdansairguns@outlook.com Thanks Scott and if you've got any suggestions for a video review feel free to leave a comment and I'll see if I can get my hands on one. My next one will be the Milbro Target Master which was requested and is currently staring me in the face so I'd better crack on.

Oh a spring gun that should be a challenge lol well for me it would, what about the Artemis P15 i quite like the look of these and they can be modified, so if you can do one of them, if you were a little closer i would give you my Air Arms s200 to review i built it from an s200 .22 breach block i get around 70ish full power shots it's .177 now im sure you would like it, shoot supper :D
@bigdansairguns836 жыл бұрын
That S200 sounds fantastic Scott! That's one of my weak areas at the moment I'm not too much into tuning yet but I'll get there I'm sure. Well funny you mention the P15 Scott mate I just so happen to have two of them left from our last order and I think after the Milbro that it'd be a sin not to review one of the P15's. That is a great trajectory for a .22!! I'm intrigued. What weight are those sniper lights?
@bigdansairguns836 жыл бұрын
Hi Andrew, Yes mate I was very surprised by that as well! The Sniper lights are 14.04grn in .22 cal so a bit lighter than JSB's and FTT's. The weight seemed to compensate a bit for the drop at that range but as you can see the wind blew them around a bit when we pushed it further.
